[baviphat] AC Cure Control BB Cream *Light Beige*

The 2nd review for today is a BB Cream! The be exact it's the AC Cure Control BB Cream by [baviphat].
I'm always open for BB Creams which are good for oily, sensitive or acne-prone skin. That's why I purchased this one in #1 Light Beige. You can get it in #2 Natural Beige as well.

Description: This product conceals the blemishes naturally, and also protects the skin from ultraviolet rays.
Salicylic Acid and Portulaca Oleracea extract help the skin balancing the sebum and trouble without oiliness.
The white tube looks kinda simple with just red, black and silver words. It contains 45ml of this BB Cream which also got SPF35. The twist off lid is silver and transparent.
The AC Cure Control BB Cream has a creamy consistency and is not watery or too thick.
The Light Beige is bright and looks a bit pinkish on my skin.
It covers blemishes quite good and I like the fragrance.
After wearing this BB Cream for 4 hours my face began to look a bit shiny around my nose but it wasn't really oily. After more than 8 hours I had to use a powder again coz it was too shiny.

Price: around 10,- €/ US$13
Bought at: eBay (BELLOGIRL)

What I love:
The coverage and fragrance!

What I don’t like:
My skin looked pinkish! I prefer BB Creams with a greyish undertone or just beige.

Will I buy this again? I think I won't! Will last for a while and try out new ones again.

[SKINFOOD] Acorn Jelly Mask

Happy New Year 2012!!

Exactly 1 year ago I celebrated New Year's Eve in Taiwan with my boyfriend. Time goes fast!!

Anyway, I'm getting busy from now on therefore I can't write a review everyday.
For the last time in 2011 I wanna review 2 products: One of them is the Acorn Jelly Mask from [SKINFOOD]. This wash-off mask is good for people with oily skin and large pores.

Description: A mask pack that effectively tightens oil-clogged enlarged pores and exfoliates layers of dead skin cells with powdered acorns from Jiri-mountain.
The Mask comes in a (glass) jar and contains 100g. It has a brown plastic lid and the product description is written on that small booklet. Under the lid is another translucent plastic cover to protect the product.
The Acorn Jelly Mask comes with a small spoon/ spatula which makes it easier to take out the product. It has a brown, jelly-like consistency and becomes more watery when I massage it on my skin. The fragrance is very strong and weird. Smells kinda nutty!
I'm pretty sure that is the scent of acorns.
When I use the mask I massage it over my skin and wait for a few minutes before I wash it off again. Some people say it starts to burn on their skin and that they can barely wait for 1 minute. I don't have that problem, though.
I'm not really sure how the product shall work in such a short time but my pores looking a little bit smaller and some dead skin cells are removed as well.

How to use: After washing, apply an ample amount onto the face and massage gently.
Leave for 1 minute, and then rinse off with lukewarm water.

Price: around 12,- €/ US$16
Bought at: eBay (zinopark)

What I love:
There is nothing I really love!

What I don’t like:
The scent is weird but thats almost all.

Will I buy this again? No, I won't!

I also got a Sample of the Acai Berry Mask which I will review fast, too:
Description: A mask pack that quenches thirsty dry skin with abundunt moisture in the extract of Acai Berries from the Amazon jungle.

This Acai Berry Mask is good for dry skin and comes as full-size in the same design as the Acorn Jelly Mask
It has a gel-like consistency which is slightly pink/ reddish with some red/ brown granules inside. These granules peel your skin plus, it smells like berries!
After using this Mask my skin felt smoother.

How to use: After washing, apply an ample amount onto a damp face and massage gently. Leave for 5 minutes, and the rinse off with lukewarm water.

[SKINFOOD] Good Afternoon BB *PEACH GREEN tea*

[SKINFOOD] has this new BB Cream range which is called Good Afternoon BB. I reviewed the 'ROSE LEMON tea BB' already and today I wanna say something about the PEACH GREEN tea one.

The PEACH GREEN tea BB is good for people with oily/ combination skin.

Description: Oil-Controlling & Mattifying BB Cream
A long-lasting BB cream that helps maintain bright morning skin throughout the day without darkening or smudging.
An oil-controlling and skin-mattifying BB cream that keeps skin fresh and matte with vitamin-enriched peach extract and sebum-regulating green tea.
The packaging looks like a tea bag again and is kept in light brown & pink.
The tube contains 30g which is beige & pink with a teacup and peach print on it.
This BB Cream got a simple twist off lid, plus SPF20.
Compared to the ROSE LEMON tea BB this one here has a creamy consistency which is not too thick. I took #1 Light Beige which is darker than the ROSE LEMON tea one and has a hint of grey in it. It fits my skin tone well even though it looks a bit pinkish after applying.
The fragrance is like peach tea!
The coverage is good and my skin looked matte after applying. I wore it for a few hours and my skin didn't look very oily. It didn't look as matte and fresh as at the beginning, though.

Price: around 11,- €/ US$14
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:
The peach scent and my skin looked more matte.

What I don’t like:
It looks a bit pinkish on my skin. It's not so good coz I get often red skin.

Will I buy this again? I don't think so although it's the best one for oily skin from this product line.

[Holika Holika] Soda Pore Cleansing *Powder Wash*

[Holika Holika] released a few month ago a product line called Soda Pore Cleansing. It's similar to the 'Baking Powder' line from [ETUDE HOUSE].
The 'Soda Pore Cleansing' line consists of the following products:
- Cleansing Foam
- B.B Deep Cleansing Foam
- Powder Wash
- O2 Bubble Mask
- Cleansing Soda Water
- Cleansing Cream
- B.B Deep Cleansing Oil
- Light Cleansing Oil

I got some of them and will try to review all but now I start with the Powder Wash.

Description: This line is a soda/ baking powder line which helps to remove blackheads and impurities in pores caused by excessive sweat and sebum secretion. Baking soda balances your skin's pH and leaves no gritty residue to clog pores. It is also said to be effective in treating acne skin.
Baking soda is a natural particle that dissolves while cleansing the skin. It is a natural alkaline that neutralizes acids and washes away oils and dirt. It's natural pH balance leaves the skin soft, silky and smooth.
This is a Powder Wash which contains Papaya enzymes to exfoliate and cleans pores efficiently.
The Powder Wash comes in a white plastic bottle with a blue sticker.
It contains 65g and got a flip-top lid.
It contains Baking Powder which is white with some blue particles inside.
It has a citrus-like scent!
The bubbles aren't strong on the pic above coz I used not enough of the product or too much water. When you use an adequate amount you will get nice bubbles and when you mix double amount with less water you can use it like a Face Mask 1-2 times per week.
I use this Powder Wash seldom coz I prefer Cleansing Foams. Therefore I can't really tell if it removes my blackheads but my skin looks cleaner.

How to use: Make bubbles by getting suitable amount with warm water. Apply bubbles onto your face, then massage your face. Rinse off with warm water.

Price: around 15,- €/ US$19
Bought at: eBay (BELLOGIRL)

What I love:
There is nothing I really love.

What I don’t like:
It's not so easy to get the adequate amount to make nice bubbles.

Will I buy this again? No, not the Powder Wash anyway.

[ETUDE HOUSE] MISSING U! Hand Cream *SPECIAL SET*

I already reviewed the new 'Bee Happy! Hand Creams' from the MISSING U! product line by [ETUDE HOUSE]. Now I wanna review the first serie of these hand creams.

I got the 'SPECIAL SET' which contains all 4 types:
- Fairy Penguin (Baby Powder)
- Panda (Peach)
- Pink Dolphin (Fiona Flower)
- Harp Seal (Green Tea)

This hand creams are free of Paraben, Sulphate, Ethanol and Color.

Description: Missing U Hand Cream is formulated with natural mixture of herbs, Shea Butter and Olives to moisturize, heal and soothe hands.
The SPECIAL SET comes in a whitish 'egg box' with a paper sheet around it. Everything was printed with soy ink. The creams itself come in cute plastic container which look like different endangered animals. Each container contains 30ml!
Compared to the 'Bee Happy! Hand Creams' this ones here have a more lotion-like consistency and are not thick like a balm. This makes it easier to take out, you just have to dip your fingers in.
Fairy Penguin (left): The Baby Powder Fragrance is my favorite of all 'MISSING U! Hand Creams'. I just love that soft powder scent.
Panda (right): It has a nice fruity Peach scent which is not too strong.
Harp Seal (left): The Green Tea Fragrance was really weird for me at the beginning but after using it a few times I started to like it. The fragrance is very strong for me!
Pink Dolphin (right): I'm not a fan of those Rose, Lavender or whatever scents but this Fiona one is quite nice. It smells a bit like rose but not too strong. I like it, too!
I like all of this creams and I got a single one of the Fairy Penguin as well. When you get just one cream they come in a small paper box.

Price (Set): around 20,- €/ US$30
Bought at: eBay (reallyhappyidea)

What I love:
The design and the Baby Powder fragrance.

What I don’t like:
There is nothing I don't like.

Will I buy this again? I would buy the 'Fairy Penguin' a 3rd time. It's my favorite one!

[TONYMOLY] POCKET BUNNY Sleek Mist

I reviewed a few days ago the 'Calming Mist' from [ETUDE HOUSE] and I said that I find those mists kinda useless. I still think that way but nevertheless I got some new facial mists coz I like this refreshing feeling when I spray it to my face.
One of my last mists I got is the POCKET BUNNY Sleek Mist from [TONYMOLY].
It's also available as Moist Mist for dry skin but I took the one for oily skin.

Description: Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist contains the essence of white fruits and vegetables, such as radish, cabbage and lemon extract. All these ingredients could effectively reduce oil secretion and provide you moisture, leaving your skin rich in nutrients. With a fresh aroma, it could provide you a refresh feeling.
The mist comes in a super cute pump bottle which looks like a rabbit.
It's kept in white and pink colors.
The bottle is small and handy so you can carry it in your bag. It contains 60ml!
The pump is easy to use and the mist has a nice citrus-like scent.
I spray it on my face before applying make-up but I don't see that my skin gets more matte etc.
Anyway, I like how it refreshes my skin!

Price: around 11,- €/ US$14
Bought at: eBay (BELLOGIRL)

What I love:
The design and the refreshing feeling.

What I don’t like:
I can't see that my skin is more matte.

Will I buy this again? No, but I will keep the bottle and refill it with other stuff.

[ETUDE HOUSE] Dr.OIL SOLUTION Anti-Shine Dual Primer

My first Primer was also my first item from [ETUDE HOUSE].
When I wear make-up it always starts to get oily and shiny after a few hours. Because of that I purchased the Dr.OIL SOLUTION Anti-Shine Dual Primer and the Anti-Shine Mist. I also got the Finish Pact but I didn't use it yet!

Description: Moisturizing and Pore coverage makeup primer improves foundation makeup expression and longevity.
At first I have to say that I use this Primer for a long time already (over 6 month) and that I threw the paper box away. The tube is white & light blue/ green with a light green lid and contains 35ml!
It's a 2 Step Primer: Moisturizing Primer + Pore Cover Balm.
The Primer is inside the tube while the Pore Cover Balm is inside the lid (1.5g).
When you want the Primer then you have to twist off the lid. You wanna use the Pore Cover Balm then you have to fold out the lid. Inside the lid is a small mirror included!
The Primer is white and a bit lotion-like with a nice fragrance. The Pore Cover Balm is thick like a balm and also whitish.
I used up the Pore Cover Balm already but it covered my enlarged pores quite well. I liked it!
The Primer itself rather disappointed me. I always read good reviews about it but for me it doesn't work that good. My skin still gets oily after just a few hours.

Price: around 10,- €/ US$13
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:
The Pore Cover Balm covers my enlarged pores quite well.

What I don’t like:
My skin still gets oily after using the Primer.

Will I buy this again? I don't think so. [Holika Holika] Silky Veil Primer works the best for me....
