[A'PIEU] Aqua Nature Fresh Bamboo Soothing Gel

Since a few months I like to use aloe vera gel in the morning and evening underneath my regular face cream.
I've already reviewed the ALOE VERA 92% SOOTHING GEL from [NATURE REPUBLIC] and now I got a similar product but with bamboo instead of aloe vera in it: [A'PIEU]'s Aqua Nature Fresh Bamboo Soothing Gel.

I tend to stick to products from [ETUDE HOUSE], [Holika Holika] or [SKINFOOD] but it's always nice to try out another cosmetic brand. [A'PIEU] belongs to [MISSHA] and contains mainly natural ingredients, similar to [NATURE REPUBLIC] or [SKINFOOD] I guess.

Official Website: http://shop.beautynet.co.kr/apieu/

I got the Fresh Bamboo Soothing Gel because it is said to be good for oily & combination skin. For those with dry & normal skin it's also available as Deep-sea Soothing Gel.

Description: AQUA NATURE provides pure and natural energy to your skin, with its high moisturizing benefit. With AQUA NATURE, you will experience the beautiful innovation to your skin with the pure and harmonious ingredients from natural water.

The Fresh Bamboo Soothing Gel comes in a clear plastic container with a milky white twist-off lid. The conatiner contains 200ml and has only a short english description on the front, while on the back is everything written in korean.
This Fresh Bamboo Soothing Gel is just one product of a whole bamboo skincare line. There are also available a toner, serum, emulsion and cream.
The main ingredients are Bamboo Water (5.0%), Swiss Alpine Herbs, Lavender and Chamomile.
Like the aloe vera gel its consitency is gel-like, non-sticky and highly moisturizing. The green-colored gel has a fresh scent and gets absorbed by my skin quite fast.
It can be used on the face and body!
After using [A'PIEU]'s Aqua Nature Fresh Bamboo Soothing Gel for a few weeks now I can say that I like it a little bit more than the aloe vera soothing gels I tried before. Not only because it is recommended for those with oily & combination skin, but also because my skin feels less 'tight' afterwards. I'm sure I could use it alone by itself but I still apply a face cream over it.
How to use: After cleansing your face or body and toner application, apply gel gently on the face or body.
You can keep it in the fridge for a more cooling sensation.

Price: around 10,- €/ US$13
Bought at: eBay (iamlove-shop)

What I love:
The fresh feeling and that my skin doesn't feel super tight and oily afterwards.

What I don’t like:
Nothing yet!

Will I buy this again? I would buy it instead of aloe vera gel again!

[NATURE REPUBLIC] SOOTHING & MOISTURE ALOE VERA 92% SOOTHING GEL

Aloe vera is a succulent-like plant with gel-filled leaves. The gel inside is associated with many healing benefits, and can be used both internally and externally. Externally it is most used for the relief of many skin complaints, including sunburns, acne, dry skin, insect bites, stretch marks, cuts/ wounds, aging skin and more.
Since I suffer from oily skin, dry skin, sensitive skin and breakouts from time to time I thought that aloe vera gel might be worth a try. I decided to get the SOOTHING & MOISTURE ALOE VERA 92% SOOTHING GEL from korean brand [NATURE REPUBLIC]. This gel contains 92% pure aloe vera gel and can be used by any skin type, also sensitive skin. I was reading that it was sold more than 1.5 million times in Korea already!
You can also get a Cleansing Foam with 80% aloe vera.

The skin care products of [NATURE REPUBLIC] are endorsed by different KPop celebrities like JYJ, Rain, Goo Hara (KARA), Jang Geun Suk and some more.

Description: Abundant 92% aloe vera! Mild formula free from paraben, mineral oil and artificial colors. This soothing gel with 92% organic aloe vera certified by California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) can be used to mildly moisturize various parts of the body such as the face, arms, legs, and hair.
[NATURE REPUBLIC]'s aloe vera gel comes in a quite big, green plastic container and contains 300ml what should last for a long time if you don't use it everyday on your whole body. The container is also a bit translucent and has a second clear cover underneath the lid to protect the gel from spilling out.
The main ingredient is Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract (92%). Some other ingredients are Alcohol, Butylene Glycol, Betaine, Carendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Spearmint Extract, Melissa Officinalis Extract, Water, Perfume and others.
It is free of Paraben, Mineral Oil and Artificial Colors.
The gel is colorless and nice scented. It doesn't feel sticky and becomes a bit more watery when I massage it over my skin. It gets absorbed by my skin very fast and does refresh well. Afterwards my skin feels smooth and stays oil-free for longer than with a normal face cream.
Btw, you can keep the gel in your fridge for a more cooling and refreshing feeling!
I use the aloe vera gel mostly on my face only - sometimes alone and sometimes under another face cream. I really like it till now and hope it will help my skin complaints! I'm also curious about how it works under my make-up. I know that you can mix the gel with your make-up base or foundation - I will do that next time.
How to use: Apply an appropriate amount to dry, sensitive parts of the face and body often for the best results. For external use only!

Price: around 10,- €/ US$12
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:
Everything till now!

What I don’t like:
Nothing yet! Except from the fact that you need to dip your fingers in the gel again.

Will I buy this again? Yes, I would if it helps long-term! Maybe will try out another aloe vera gel the next time like the one from [Holika Holika].
