HAPPY EASTER!

I remember that I got asked if I can share my daily skin care regime. So, here we go but I have to mention before that some products may switch from time to time. The cleanser I always use together with the clarisonic Mia.
Ok, the following listing is of what I currently use:

- [Holika Holika] 3" seconds Starter Hyaluronic Acid
- [Holika Holika] fairy water Pure Fresh Toner or [ETUDE HOUSE] WONDER PORE Freshner
- [SKINFOOD] Peach Sake Pore Serum
- [TONYMOLY] POCKET BUNNY Sleek Mist
- [Holika Holika] fairy water Pure Fresh Oil Paper Cream or Water March Moisture Full Cream

Evening

- [Holika Holika] AC Magic Clear Powder in Toner

- [ETUDE HOUSE] My Lash Serum

- Acne Treatment Cream with Benzoyl Peroxide

Somehow it looks quite a lot! I also try to use every 2~3 days a face mask/ peeling or a sleeping pack before I go to bed.

Ok, the review today is about a lippie I got awhile ago: the Aqua Muse Watery Lipstick from [Holika Holika] in #OR205 Pastel Orange.
You can choose from 8 different colors:
- Pastel Orange
- Dewy Coral
- Pink Mode
- Aqua Heaven
- Fairy Red
- Milk Pink
- Angel Peach
- Rose Fever

Description: Provides sense of moisture to lips rather than oily. Express clear and pure lips like formed drop of water.
The packaging is kept in a pretty combination of blue & violet shades. I love these colors!
On the box you also find a short description in English, the rest is in Korean.
The twist-up container is 'octagonal' and in a light pearl violet. I can't find out the NET wt. but it's surely the same as from other lipsticks (around 4g).
I purchased #OR205 Pastel Orange which is the brighter orange shade in this lipstick line. I got it coz I wanted a color for my nude-look and I thought this might be good for that.
l
These orange shade is pale and reminds me of my tangerine clarisonic Mia. It's almost the same color! You can build the color in layers but it's not very opaque.
The consistency is very soft & creamy, kinda watery as well. I have some problems to apply the lipstick evenly to my lips, plus it sinks a bit into my chapped skin. Therefore, I need to peel my lips before using this lipstick.
The Aqua Muse Watery Lipstick does moisturize quite well and doesn't give my lips a matte finish. It's not super glossy but still nice. It also has a few shimmer inside but that's barely visible.
The scent is ok, not very noticeable but the taste is weird. A sorta soapy taste!
Applied around 3~5 layers!

How to use: Line the lips and fill the color from center.

Price: around 12,50,- €/ US$16
Bought at: eBay (BELLOGIRL)

What I love:
The packaging and the soft & creamy & 'watery' texture.

What I don’t like:
The soapy taste and that it's hard to apply the color evenly.

Will I buy this again? No! [Holika Holika] released a 'heart-shaped' lippie - I would try out that one instead.

[Holika Holika] Magic pole mascara *#2 Longlash*

When I went to South Korea last year I spent most of my money for souvenirs. I brought so much stuff at home like traditional dolls, souvenir plates, cup coaster, magnets, a 'HAECHI' plush toy and STARBUCKS mugs/ tumbler. Btw, I collect STARBUCKS mugs from cities and countries I have visited or I'm interested in.
Anyway, in Seoul I also went to a [Holika Holika] Shop. Too bad that I didn't know much about Korean cosmetic at that time, so I just bought a few things like the Magic pole mascara in #2 Longlash. This mascara is also available as #1 Volume and WATERPROOF.

Watch the CM with CN Blue & Kim Min Ji here:

Description: With Magic ball brush and porous Sponge Ball Powder. It reaches 100% of lashes from every angle for a dramatic, flared-out effect. The unique spherical brush thickens, separates and adds volume to even tiny corner and lower lashes, transforming your look from everyday to explosive with a few sweeps.
The Magic pole mascara comes in a pink/purple/gold bottle and contains 9ml.
The brush has a unique design which I have never seen on a mascara before.
It got a ball on top which is called 'Magic Ball' and helps to separate and lengthen the lashes. The longer part of the brush is the 'Magic Stick' and gives your eyelashes more volume with Light Wax Matrix
You can apply the mascara in different ways: Use the Magic Stick to cover all of your lashes and then use just the Magic Ball to separate them. You can either use the Magic Ball on the side for Long-Lash Volume or in the middle for Triple Power Volume
I use the ball also for the lower lashes.
The color is a deep black and is not waterproof. Nevertheless, it has a Smart Film Type that prevents the mascara from smudging by sebum, tears etc. But it is still easy to remove with a make-up remover and warm water.

My lashes without any mascara - looks like I got no lashes coz they are too bright to get captured by my cam:
With the Magic pole mascara in #2 Longlash. My lashes looking longer and more separated but they also look a bit like 'fly legs'. I wished they would have more volume...
I purchased this mascara directly in Seoul for around 9,900won but you can get it at eBay as well.

Price: around 7,- €/ 9,900won
Bought at: [Holika Holika] Shop @LOTTE WORLD, Seoul

What I love:
The unique ball brush design.

What I don’t like:
There is nothing I dislike.

Will I buy this again? Not this one! If so, then I would try out #1 Volume.

[Holika Holika] Cherry Blossoms Essence Sheet Mask

During my stay in Malaysia, Taiwan and South Korea I found out that Asian countries got a lot of sheet masks. As someone who raised up with mud masks this was kinda new for me. After trying out some I can say that I don't really like them. The sheet masks are always way too big for my face and I can't walk around while wearing them because sooner or later the mask will fall off. With mud masks I won't have that problems.
Nevertheless, I bought some 'interesting' sheet masks or got them as a freebie. One of them is the [Holika Holika] Cherry Blossoms Essence Mask Sheet.

Description: Containing essence of cherry blossoms extract that's rich in minerals, it provides water and nutrition to the skin to keep it moist, and clears up the skin tone to make clean and shiny skin.
The packaging contains just one sheet mask, so you can use it for one (1) time only.
On the front is a pic of korean boyband CN BLUE and on the back is the description of how to use the mask (in Korean, English and Japanese).
20ml of product are inside the sheet!
The Cherry Blossom Sheet Mask got the nice scent of cherry blossoms which reminds me of the BODY BUTTER from [THE BODY SHOP] I used ages ago.
I used the mask after I cleaned my face with the clarisonic Mia and my skin was burning a little bit while wearing the mask. But afterwards I could see that my skin looked a bit brighter and wasn't dry anymore.
How to use: Apply toner to cleanse the skin after washing.
Open up the package, unfold the mask sheet and fit the mask over the face according to the shape.
Peel off the mask after 15~20 minutes and pat the remaining essence gently to absorb.

Price: around 1,50,- €/ S$2.50
Bought at: iheartkoreanbeauty.com

What I love:
The scent and my skin looks a bit clearer afterwards.

What I don’t like:
Those sheet masks never fit my face.

Will I buy this again? Will try other ones probably.
