[Holika Holika] Soda Pore Cleansing *Light Cleansing Oil*

Last year [Holika Holika] released the Soda Pore Cleansing line which is similar to [ETUDE HOUSE]'s Baking Powder products. I already reviewed the O2 Bubble Mask and the Powder Wash. Today I'm gonna review the cleansing oil of this line: the Soda Pore Cleansing Light Cleansing Oil. This one shall be good for oily skin - it's also available as a B.B Deep Cleansing Oil (removes even waterproof make-up).

Description: Rich with Essential Fatty Acids and Vitamin E rich Grape Seed Oil. Skin feels moisturized and smooth even after cleansing.
The blueish, translucent bottle contains 150ml and is made of plastic with a sticker around it. It comes with a pump and you can find the description on the bottom (Korean only).
The Light Cleansing Oil contains some of the following ingredients:
Sparkling Water, Argan Oil: Removes make-up, BB cream and skin wastes. Deeply cleanses pores.
Grape Seed Oil: Essential Fatty Acid and Vitamin E protect the skin from external stimuli and removes skin wastes.
Lemon, Alpine Herb: Supply rich nutrients and brightens the skin tone.
Harrogate Sparkling Water: Supplies abundant minerals to the skin.
The Cleansing Oil is colorless and has a lemon/ citrus-like scent. I use 2~3 pumps and massage the oil over my whole face to remove make-up. I noticed that this oil isn't as 'runny' on my skin as other cleansing oils I tried before. It rather feels like it 'sticks' on my face like a gel...
When I get the product in my eyes it starts to burn!! That's something I don't like.
For the example pics I used the following products (left to right):
Lipgloss, Lipstick, Mascara, Kajal, Eyeshadow(s) and BB Cream.
I applied a few drops of the oil on my arm/ the make-up (pic above).
After massaging the oil onto my skin (pic below):
I removed it with a tissue and as you can see there're just a few residues of the mascara and kajal left. After I washed my arm with water it was gone as well.
How to use: Use a adequate amount and massage it over your face. Remove the residues with warm water or a cleansing foam.

Price: around 16,- €/ US$20
Bought at: eBay (BELLOGIRL)

What I love:
The oil does rather stick to my face and isn't too runny. The scent is also nice, plus it removes make-up quite well.

What I don’t like:
The product burns in my eyes. Not so good coz I use it as eye make-up remover, too.

Will I buy this again? No, will try other ones (as always).

[ETUDE HOUSE] Black Head Off Oil EX

Beside cleansing oils for removing make-up I also got an oil for fighting blackheads: the Black Head Off Oil EX from [ETUDE HOUSE]. I purchased this product back in March 2011 during my Korea trip.

The Black Head line contains the following things:
- Black Head Final Kit
- Black Head Off Oil EX
- Black Head Bond Patch
- Black Head Roll on Spot
- Black Head Heating Scrub
- Black Head Cleansing Foam
- Black Head Gommage
- Black Head Remover Dual Sheet
- Black Head Waxing Kit
- Black Head Cleansing Foam Pad
- Black Head Pore Tightening Essence
- Black Head Sleeping Paste
- Black Head Heating Deep Clean Gel
- Black Head Off Finger Tip Silicon

As you can see, they released a lot of products for removing blackheads. I just got the oil, though!

Description: Secret Recipe! Perfect Solution!
Improved formula penetrates deep to dissolve and eliminate oil & residue buildup.
Mineral Oil & Preservative Free
The plastic packaging is translucent with a yellowish-orange color. Inside the packaging is the bottle which is kept in a similar color. This plastic bottle is translucent as well and got a pump. 60ml are inside!
The three (3) main ingredients in this oil are Lemon, Grape Seed Oil and Coal.
I found the following informations about this product online:
Black Head Off Oil EX is formulated with Lemon and Grape Seed Oils for optimal cleansing power. Infused with coal, it helps release all the impurities and dirt from pores by massage movements. It can remove even the dirt and black head trapped deep within pores. It is also enriched with Fir Oil to calm and control excessive oil secretion and other skin problems, leaving your skin black-head-free and clean.
The consistency is very oily and 'watery'. It's colorless and smells like an normal oil with just a slight lemon scent.
You need to massage the oil for 3~5 minutes on areas with blackheads. I use it mainly on my nose and cheeks. Those silicon finger tips are good for massaging the oil into my skin. It's better than using my fingers!
My bottle is still full, although I have it since one year. I use it really seldom and therefore I can't see any improvement. My nose looks a bit cleaner after using this oil but that's just temporarily.
How to use: Use hands to apply and massage oil to blackhead intense areas of the face. Massage into skin for 3~5 minutes and wash with foaming cleanser and rinse with warm water.
Avoid contact with eyes!

Price (at YesStyle): around 16,50,- €/ US$22
Bought at: [ETUDE HOUSE] Shop @Insadong, Seoul

What I love:
There is nothing I love yet.

What I don’t like:
It's very oily and 'watery'.

Will I buy this again? No, not this one but maybe another product from this line.

[THE FACE SHOP] OIL SPECIALIST FRESH CLEANSING OIL & GREEN TEA HAND GEL CREAM

For removing make-up I recently like to use cleansing oils more than cleansing creams/ cleansing wipes.
After I finished the Real Art Cleansing Oil *MOISTURE* I was looking for a new one and found the [shu uemura] skin purifier gentle cleansing oil. Unfortunately, this cleansing oil is too expensive for me, therefore I was looking for a similar but more affordable oil.
I got the OIL SPECIALIST FRESH CLEANSING OIL with Cherryblossom from [THE FACE SHOP]. This cleansing oil is good for All Skin Types especially combination/ oily skin.

It's available in the following types:
- FRESH CLEANSING OIL (Cherryblossom)
- BRIGTENING CLEANSING OIL (Prune)
- ANTI-AGING CLEANSING OIL (Green Tea and Acai Berry)
- ENRICHED CLEANSING OIL (Camellia and Avocado)

Description: Cleans impurities even deep inside the skin~ a refreshing cleansing oil without any sheen.
Light non-sticky texture spreads on the skin quickly and thoroughly cleanses out impurities even inside pores. Cherry blossoms and cherry seed oil clean dead skin cells and pores, leaving a refreshing sense without any hint of sheen after cleansing.
Every cleansing oil got another color! The FRESH CLEANSING OIL got a pink packaging with the description in Korean and English on it.
The oil is inside a round translucent-pink plastic bottle, got a pump and contains 200ml.
This cleansing oil contains the following ingredients:
Mineral Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Prunus Serrulata (Cherry Blossom) Flower Extract, Sweet Cherry Fruit Extract, Butylene Glycol, Fragrance, Linalool and more.
The oil itself is colorless and has just a slight cherry blossom scent. It smells more like an oil!
I use 2~3 pumps and massage the oil over my whole face, then rinse it off with water.
My skin doesn't feel oily or too dry afterwards. If the product gets into your eyes it might blurry your eye-sight.
I used from left to right:
Mascara, Eyebrow Concealer, Liquid Eyeliner, Lipgloss, Lipstick, Eyeshadow, BB Cream.
I applied a few drops of oil on the make-up and massaged it over my skin (pic above).
After removing the residues with a tissue - no water used (pic below):
The oil removes my make-up very well - even eye make-up. I like it and will continue using it after I finished the Happy Teatime Cleansing Cream *Milk Tea*.

How to use: Pump an adequate amount and apply the oil gently to the face. Massage lightly in spiral motions to blend well with make-up for cleansing. Depending on skin type, rinse with warm water or use a cleansing foam for dual cleansing.
Price: around 18,- €/ US$24
Bought at: eBay (hsckoreanimports)

What I love:
I love the whole product! It cleans well and is good for oily skin.

What I don’t like:
Nothing yet!! Except for the price...still a bit expensive.

Will I buy this again? Yes, I would!

With this order I received some samples. One of these samples were the GREEN TEA HAND GEL CREAM. I will write a short review about that, too!

Description: This fresh greent tea - scented gel-type hand cream makes you feel comfortable as if you take a walk in the forest. The antioxidant-rich Korean green tea and Olive oil leave your hands healthy and glowing. Have your hands fresh all the time with green tea hand gel cream!
The gel cream comes in a light green tube with a tiwt-off lid. The tube contains 30ml, so I think it's already the normal/ full size?!
I can't find any informations about this cream yet. Probably it's a newer product!
Anyway, the gel-like consistency has a greenish color and a nice scent. The description says it's a green tea scent!
The GREEN TEA HAND GEL CREAM is non-greasy and absorbs quickly. My hands feel softer but I also think it leaves a film on my skin. That feels a bit weird! But still a nice cream - not the best I tried, though!

[ETUDE HOUSE] Happy Teatime Cleansing Cream *Milk Tea*

[ETUDE HOUSE]'s Happy Teatime product line not only consists of Cleansing Foams, there are also some Cleansing Creams for make-up removal available. I got the Happy Teatime Milk Tea Cleansing Cream which was also my first korean make-up remover, but I prefered to use the Real Art Cleansing Oil first (reviewed that one here).
This Cleansing Cream is available as Milk Tea, Lemon Tea and Aloe Tea.

Description: Cleansing Cream's creamy texture contains Milk protein to remove dirt and makeup while keeping skin moisturized with the pleasent fragrance of tea.
The Cleansing Cream comes in a beige/light brown colored round container and contains 180ml. The lid got a nice teapot print. The container again is wrapped in translucent plastic which you can unfold. That plastic packaging got some 'tea' prints as well.
Consistency-wise, it's creamy but not too thick. It's rather a bit lotion-like and has a white color.
It smells so great!! I love those soft milk scents!! I can't smell the tea fragrance, though.
You have to use your fingers to get the cream out of the container. I don't like that so much and it's also not very hygienic.
The Milk tea Cleansing Cream contains Water, Mineral Oil, Milk Protein, Carbomer, Fragrance and more.
On the following pics I used for example: (from left to right)
Lipliner, Kajal, Mascara, Liquid Eyeliner, Lipstick, Lipgloss and BB Cream.
After massaging the Cleansing Cream on my skin:
After wiping the cream off and cleansing my skin with warm water:
I like this Milk tea Cleansing Cream! Not only because of its soft consistency and scent, also because it cleanses my skin kinda well. My skin feels really soft afterwards but since I wash my face after that with a Cleansing Foam the soft feeling disappears fast.
When the product comes in your eyes it might blurry your eye-sight but it was more worst when I used that Cleansing Oil.

How to use: Apply cream to all areas of the face. Massage thoroughly and wipe clean with cleansing tissues or rinse with warm water to remove excess. Use foam cleanser if needed.

Price: around 10,- €/ US$12.50
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:
Of course the design and the scent. It also removes my make-up quite well.

What I don’t like:
That I have to take the cream out of the container with my fingers.

Will I buy this again? I would but I wanna try out some other ones, too.
