[THE FACE SHOP] Blemish ZERO *Clarifying Toner & Clinic Solution*

I haven't written any reviews in such a long time, I'm sorry for that. But I'm too busy with other things... I'm back to school now and study accounting and balance!!

During the time I was absent I still ordered some Asian skincare products and make-up. One of the products I got was [THE FACE SHOP]'s Blemish ZERO Clarifying Toner and Clinic Solution. This line also contains a Bubble Foam Cleanser and is specially made for adult acne skin/ troubled skin.

Description: A specialized line that cares for adult acne.

Clarifying Toner (Step 2):
Description: Let's keep it clear. Make your skin glow with this toner which clarifies and evens your skin tone.

The Clarifying Toner is step 2 and you use it after cleansing your face with the Bubble Foam Cleanser or another cleansing foam. The transparent blue bottle with it's silver twist-off lid looks very nice for me. The plastic bottle contains 200ml and has on the back only the description written in Korean.
Beside Sodium Hyaluronate, Natural Origin AHA and Natural Origin BHA, the colorless toner also contains Water, Glycerin, Panthenol, Willow Bark Extract (AHA), Grapefruit Extract, Anise Fruit Extract, Linalool and more.
It is free of Mineral Oil, Alcohol and Synthetic Fragrances.

How to use: After cleansing saturate an appropriate amount on a cotton pad and gently apply using outward motions.

Clinic Solution (Step 3):
Description: Get ready to be surprised! Meet the ultimate solution which can always work magic.

Like the Clarifying Toner, the Clinic Solution also comes in a blue bottle which contains 150ml and comes with a sliver-white pump. This emulsion-like moisturizer is the last step of the Blemish ZERO line!
The moisturizer is also free of Mineral Oil, Alcohol and Synthetic Fragrances. It contains ingredients like Birch Extract, Mung Bean Extract, Natural Origin BHA, Glycerin, Anise Fruit Extract, Grapefruit Extract and a lot more.
The whitish emulsion-like consistency is non-sticky or greasy. The scent reminds me a little bit of a citrus fruit!
How to use: After clarifying toner take an appropriate amount and apply to skin.

After using both acne treatment products for a few weeks now (in the evening only), I can say that I like these products. I won't say that my skin really changed yet but I still like to use them - not only because they are alcohol-free.
Of course, I hope that I will see some improvements with my skin soon...

Price: around 14~16,- €/ US$18~$20

Bought at: eBay
What I love:

The alcohol-free formula and the non-greasy moisturizer. The design is also quite nice!
What I don’t like:
Nothing yet!

Will I buy this again? If I see some improvements with my skin and don't find anything new to try then I might get it again (especially the moisturizer).

[SKINFOOD] Peach Sake Pore Serum

After using a toner and before applying a face cream I often use a serum. Good for me are those for enlarged pores and oily skin. [SKINFOOD] has a product line especially for this skin problems: the Peach Sake Pore line. I got the Peach Sake Pore Serum and the BB Cream. I will review the serum today!

Description: Soft serum with 'sake', traditional Japanese wine brewed with rigidly selected rice, and 'peach' extracts rich in vitamin A and C to remove greasiness due to enlarged pores and excessive sebum.
The Peach Sake Pore Serum comes in a very cute, matte glass bottle which looks like those sake bottles from Japan. The plastic lid is long with a 'wood look'.
The bottle contains 45ml and has a pump!
The main ingredients are Rice Sake, Peach Extract and Silica Powder which help to reduce the shine and the appearance of pores on your skin.
This Serum has a white lotion-like consistency and is not as watery as some other serums I tried out. The scent is nice, kinda peachy and I like that my skin looks more matte afterwards. My skin also feels more smooth and velvet - like a peach.
Unfortunately, it doesn't cover my enlarged pores well and the oil control doesn't last for a long time, too. But I have to remind you that I use the Peach Sake Pore Serum only. You probably get a better result when you use all products of this range and 'everyday'.

How to use: After lotion, apply gently and cover face with hands, for deep absorption.

Price: around 11,- €/ US$15
Bought at: eBay (zinopark)

What I love:
The design of the bottle and the soft/ velvet finish.

What I don’t like:
It doesn't cover my pores too well.

Will I buy this again? Might be but I'm not sure yet.

[Holika Holika] AC MAGIC CLEAR *Toner & Emulsion*

I received my clarisonic Mia Skin Cleansing System a few days ago and tried it out once today. I used it for 2 minutes because 1 minute seemed too short for me. After the Mia switched off automatically I still had one cheek to clean. Anyway, I will try to manage it in 1 minute.
I got the Tangerine one which is a pretty pastel orange and a limited color. Now, I'm just waiting for my replacement brush heads.

A product line from [Holika Holika] I wanted to try out is AC MAGIC CLEAR. It wasn't easy to find these products but luckily I found a shop in Singapore who sold those. I decided to get the Powder in Toner and Powder in Emulsion. This line is specially made for acne-prone skin!

Powder in Toner:
Description: Contains Calamine powder to clean skin. Trouble use only pink skin.

As described this toner contains a powder. Those powders are usually for removing excess oil and mattifying the skin. Before using you have to shake the bottle 4-5 times.
The product comes in a paper box which is kept in different blue, white and grey shades. The bottle is milk glass and has a translucent/ red twist-off lid with the 'witch' icon. It contains 150ml!

Powder in Emulsion:
Description: Contains Calamine powder for clean skin. Trouble use only emulsion.
After using toner, apply proper amount on face.

The packaging of the emulsion is the same as from the toner. The bottle is milk glass as well and contains 150ml. The twist-off lid got the 'witch' icon and is also translucent/ red.
It has a rather watery consistency - it's not as thick as a lotion.
The color is white and it's slightly perfumed.
You have to shake the bottle to get the product out.
I used both products just a few times yet. Therefore I can't really tell if it works or not.
But when I use the Emulsion right after the Toner my skin starts to burn really bad. That doesn't happen when I just use the Toner. Maybe both products together are too much for my skin.

With my Order I got some Freebies:
A purple tote bag and a purple feather pen - both from [Holika Holika].

Price (each): around 14,- €/ S$22.50 (excluding shipping costs)
Bought at: iheartkoreanbeauty.com

What I love:
There is nothing I really love yet.

What I don’t like:
It's hard for me to get the products out of the bottle especially the emulsion.

Will I buy this again? Maybe but it's not easy to get Online.

[ETUDE HOUSE] goodbye PORE EVER *PORE PRIMER ESSENCE*

This year I started with a further education/ coaching and wake up at 6am what makes me super tired. Furthermore I'm looking for a new apartment. Because of that I can't write reviews everyday.
Today I review a pore cover product: the goodbye PORE EVER PRIMER ESSENCE from [ETUDE HOUSE]. You can get it as Stick as well but I got two balm already. So, I wanted to try out the Essence.

Description: Moisturizing makeup primer masks pores to subdue sebum and improve makeup coverage.

The Essence comes in a small light blue tube with yellow dots and a pink lid. When I look at the tube I always think of the 60's or 70's. It contains 20ml!
The product last for a while when you don't put it on your whole face everyday. I just put it on my cheeks and nose where I got some enlarged pores. It covers the smaller pores quite well but the larger ones are still visible - especially when I use a face powder afterwards.
Anyway, it has a liquid consistency like a moisturizer or emulsion. It's not as thick as a face cream. It is white/yellowish and smells ok. I can spread it over my face without problems and it feels really soft and sleek. My skin also looks a bit mattified!

How to use: Apply directly to wide pore area after skin care.

Price: around 8,- €/ US$10
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:
It covers most of my pores quite well + I can spread it over my face without rubbing etc.

What I don’t like:
There is nothing I don't like!

Will I buy this again? Yes, I would! Maybe try the Stick, too.

[ETUDE HOUSE] AC Clinic Gel Lotion

A few weeks ago I reviewed the 'Calming Mist' from the AC Clinic line by [ETUDE HOUSE].
I got some more products of this product line. One of them is the AC Clinic Gel Lotion
It was - together with the mist - the first product I used from this range.
I got it because it shall be good for acne-prone skin.

Description: A lightweight moisturizer clarifies and soothes troubled skin, while maintaining skin's optimum moisture balance at the same time. Salicylic acid and Hinoki Cypress extract work double time to prevent the formation of acne and clear out existing acne blemishes, without leaving skin dry and taut. Recommended for oily and acne prone skin types.
Like the whole range the Gel Lotion comes in a green packaging. The description is in Korean and English on the box.
Most of the Toners or Lotions by [ETUDE HOUSE] are in heavy glass bottles. The same goes for this one here! It's made of green glass, so you can see when the bottle is empty. I used up my one soon but I got a 2nd one already. You have to 'shake' the bottle to get the product out.
It has a gel-like consistency and is not too thick or creamy. The color is slightly whitish and it got that weird scent again. I guess the scent comes from the Hinoki Cypress.
I use this Gel Lotion always in the evening after using a toner. It refreshes my skin and doesn't feel oily but I still need to apply a cream afterwards. It doesn't moisturize my skin too well especially when my skin is very dry. I still have oily skin but not many breakouts anymore. Not sure if this product really helps me, though. I use too many other cosmetics!
I got the Cleansing Foam, Pink Powder Spot, Red Spot Balm and White-Trouble 2 Step Toner as well and will review them later.

Price: around 15,- €/ US$19
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:
It's not oily on my skin!

What I don’t like:
There is nothing I really don't like. But it could moisturize my skin better.

Will I buy this again? Yeah, I got another bottle a few days ago.
