[ETUDE HOUSE] Like 20 (twenty) *EYE CONCENTRATE*

Since I'm already 30 I start using some anti-aging products to prevent my skin of getting wrinkles. For my face I still use products for oily and trouble skin only but for my eye area I get creams that help to firm the skin and reduce fine lines. From [ETUDE HOUSE] I got the COLLAGEN moistfull firming eye cream a while ago which I actually liked and now I have their Like 20 (twenty) EYE CONCENTRATE.
The Like 20 (twenty) line consits of the following products:
- ESSENTIAL EMULSION
- EYE CONCENTRATE
- BOOSTER ESSENCE
- FINISHING CREAM
- ALL-DAY CREAM PACT
- SKIN CARE KIT

Description: This is an eye cream that provides moisture to the dry eye area with its smooth application for a firm eye area free of wrinkles.

All products of the Like 20 (twenty) line are kept in white and violet/lilac colors what I find really nice. The EYE CONCENTRATE is inside a white container with a pump on top and a clear lid. It contains 30 ml!

Beside Ceramide and Murumuru Oil this eye cream also contains Water, Glycerin, Castor Seed Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Carnauba Wax, Cocoa Extract, Fragrance, Alcohol and more.

The yellowish-white eye concentrate has a light creamy consistency and a soft scent.

I use one pump for each eye and apply it twice a day. It's a very smooth cream and gets absorbed quite fast. My eye area feels moisturized but I can't tell if it really helps in firming the skin. I don't think that a product works that fast - maybe when I constantly use it over a long time. Still, I hope that it will at least prevent my skin of getting wrinkles or fine lines caused by dry skin.

How to use: Dispense certain amount onto eye area before applying cream, gently dabbing and absorbing with fingertips. Can be applied onto other areas that need care (mouth area etc.).

Meow meow... I got a new mascara for a cat's eye look: [TONYMOLY]'s Cats Wink Mascara. This mascara is available in two types: #1 Volume & Longlash and #2 Curling & Longlash. I got first which I will review now!

Description: Reasonable price, washable. Cute container. Highly vivid black color gives sharp eyes. Cleansed by lukewarm water.

The long black container contains 8ml and has a cute twist-off lid with a cat head. The mascara brush is straight with short and firm bristles.

The main ingredients of this mascara are Carbon Black, Black Diamond, Black Pearl Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, P.D.O.(Pyrrolidinyl Diaminopyrimidine Oxide), Argan Oil and Fiber.

The formula will protect your lashes and stimulate the growth of them.

The rather dry texture helps that the mascara won't smudge. The color looks like a greyish-black, is easy to remove and got that typical mascara scent.

 Without any mascara (pics above) and with the Cats Wink Mascara #1 Volume & Longlash (pics below).

My lashes are longer but the volume effect could be more. I find my eye lashes are always looking like 'fly legs'. Maybe I apply the mascara wrong!
Anyway, I still like this Cats Wink Mascara and will use it more often from now on.

[ETUDE HOUSE] My Lash Serum

A product I got for my eyelashes only is the My Lash Serum from [ETUDE HOUSE]. I just wanted to try it out because it says it will strengthens the lashes and prevents them from falling out.

Description: Serum Promotes Eyelash Health & Strength
Strengthens strand vitality with essence care formula to prevent lash loss. Contains panthenol & dogwood berry extract. Supplies nourishment and comfort to weary eye lines and lashes.

This eyelash serum is inside a translucent bottle and looks like a normal mascara. It contains 9g and has a light pink lid with a soft brush.

The serum looks a bit yellowish and has a rather watery consistency. It's not as runny as water, though. The scent is nothing special - for me it smells like a mascara does.

I use the My Lash Serum since a few month already and apply it every evening like a mascara. 

I let it dry and wash it off the next morning.
I see that I loose less lashes and I also find that they look longer than before. I'm not really sure about that, though. But it might be that my lashes became so healthy now that they grow better. Will continue using it until I finished the bottle!

How to use: Simply brush it from the roots of hair follicles of eyelash toward the ends. Use at the basic step after cleansing at nighttime.

[Holika Holika] Magic pole mascara *#2 Longlash*

When I went to South Korea last year I spent most of my money for souvenirs. I brought so much stuff at home like traditional dolls, souvenir plates, cup coaster, magnets, a 'HAECHI' plush toy and STARBUCKS mugs/ tumbler. Btw, I collect STARBUCKS mugs from cities and countries I have visited or I'm interested in.

Anyway, in Seoul I also went to a [Holika Holika] Shop. Too bad that I didn't know much about Korean cosmetic at that time, so I just bought a few things like the Magic pole mascara in #2 Longlash. This mascara is also available as #1 Volume and WATERPROOF.

Description: With Magic ball brush and porous Sponge Ball Powder. It reaches 100% of lashes from every angle for a dramatic, flared-out effect. The Magic pole mascara comes in a pink/purple/gold bottle and contains 9ml.

The brush has a unique design which I have never seen on a mascara before. 

It got a ball on top which is called 'Magic Ball' and helps to separate and lengthen the lashes. The longer part of the brush is the 'Magic Stick' and gives your eyelashes more volume with Light Wax Matrix. 
You can apply the mascara in different ways: Use the Magic Stick to cover all of your lashes and then use just the Magic Ball to separate them. You can either use the Magic Ball on the side for Long-Lash Volume or in the middle for Triple Power Volume. 
I use the ball also for the lower lashes.

The color is a deep black and is not waterproof. Nevertheless, it has a Smart Film Type that prevents the mascara from smudging by sebum, tears etc. But it is still easy to remove with a make-up remover and warm water.

With the Magic pole mascara in #2 Longlash. My lashes looking longer and more separated but they also look a bit like 'fly legs'. I wished they would have more volume...

I purchased this mascara directly in Seoul for around 9,900won but you can get it at eBay as well.

Will I buy this again? Not this one! If so, then I would try out #1 Volume.

[Maichi Takahashi] Jümily Eyelashes *NO.4 CAT EYES*

Another false lashes I got from Japan are the Jümily Eyelashes. These lashes are produced by japanese fashion model MAICHI (Maichi Takahashi). I got only NO.4 CAT EYES at the moment but I would like to try out one of the other designs as well:

- 01 EXTE EYES

- 02 3WAY EYES

- 03 GIRLY EYES

- 05 BASIC EYES (Under Lash)
- 06 DOLLY EYES (Under Lash)

The plastic packaging contains 2 pairs of eyelashes and no glue. The paper inside is light blue and pink with a pic of MAICHI wearing these CAT EYES lashes. On the back is a description of how to use the lashes (japanese only).

The eyelashes are flexible and partly clear. I have some problems with applying them and because of that I'm also not really satisfied with the look. They doesn't look on my eyes as the ones MAICHI is wearing on the promotion pics. But maybe it's coz I don't have asian eyes.
Nevertheless, I still like them!

The NO.4 CAT EYES are shorter and thinner at the inner corner and become longer and thicker from the middle to the outer corner.
