[innisfree] rosemary sebum & pore lotion

In the evening I like to use a lotion under my face cream. Usually it's a product for acne or oil skin and so I came to [innisfree]'s rosemary sebum & pore lotion. This lotion belongs to the Nature Solution Skincare Line and is available in five (5) different kinds:
- rose clear skin
- rosemary sebum & pore lotion
- jasmine aqua capsule lotion
- camomile mild soothing lotion
- lavender moisture firming lotion

I got oily skin with some enlarged pores and dry areas. Because of that I got the rosemary type but would also try out the camomile one for sensitive skin.

Description: Enriched with rosemary and green complex to maintain optimal moisture balance and to create clean and clear skin.

The clear plastic bottle has a silver twist-off lid and contains 200ml. The sticker on the bottle is made of recycled paper and has only the description and ingredient list in Korean on it. Since the bottle has no pump you have to squeeze it to get the lotion out.
The sebum & pore lotion contains 200mg Rosemary Extract and Mint Extract. Rosemary controls sebum while mint keeps your pores elastic. This product line is free of Paraben, Mineral Oil, Artificial Dyes and Animal Material.
The lightweight lotion has a milky white color and changes to a watery consistency when I spread it over my face. It moisturizes and mattifies my skin after it got absorbed. My pores are less visible as well. Unfortunately my skin sometimes gets dry and flaky on some areas and therefore a mattifying product alone is not always good for my skin. I have to use another face cream over it afterwards! The scent is kinda strong and smells like herbs - probably rosemary.
[innisfree]'s rosemary sebum & pore lotion does a good job in keeping my oily skin areas matte and minimizes the appearance of pores. If you like a natural product and want a moisturizing yet mattifying product for your oily/combination skin you can give it a try!
How to use: Smooth in the morning and/or evening over thoroughly cleansed and toned skin of face and neck.

Price: About 10,- €/ US$13.50
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:
The mattifying effect and that my pores are less visible (the smaller ones anyway).

What I don’t like:
Not moisturizing enough (or too mattifying) for dry skin areas. Can use it mostly in combination with a face cream only.

Will I buy this again? I don't think so but the camomile one would be interesting to try, too.

[innisfree] jejubija anti-trouble lotion

A korean skincare brand I use recently got a product line for troubled skin as well. The [innisfree] jejubija anti-trouble line consists of the following products:
- cleansing gel
- facial foam
- skin
- lotion
- spot essence W
- spot essence R
- spot patch
- recover gel
- mist
- BB cream
For now I got the jejubija anti-trouble lotion only and use it mainly in the evening (as a moisturizer in combination with the aloe vera 92% soothing gel). I also received some samples of the spot essences which you apply on blemishes ('W' was a white essence and 'R' a green one if I'm not wrong).

Description: Enriched with torreya seed extract from pure Jeju island. Jejubija Anti-Trouble helps control blemish for clear skin.
The box, which contains the 100ml tube, is blue and white colored and printed with soy ink. The description on it is mostly in korean but got some informations in english, too.
Description: This watery moisturizing lotion helps to clear and treat troubled skin with its outstanding protection power of Jeju torreya seed oil and natural originated salicylic acid.

The tube is kept in different shades of blue and has a twist-off lid. Some ingredients inside the lotion are Water, Torreya Nucifera Seed Oil, Willow Bark Extract, Niacinamide, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Camellia Japonica Leaf Extract, Orchid Extract, Opuntia Coccinellifera Fruit Extract, Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, Olive Oil, Alcohol, Silica, Abies Sibirica Oil, Juniperus Communis Fruit Oil, Juniperus Virginiana Oil and more.
The moisturizing lotion is watery but not too runny. It gets absorbed quite fast without leaving a greasy film on my skin. What I don't like much is the strong herbal scent. It has the same pine scent as the [ETUDE HOUSE] AC Clinic White-Trouble products.
I'm quite satisfied with this product till now even though it just fights some skin troubles. I don't think it will help people with acne-prone skin but you could give it a try. I'm still thinking about getting the cleansing gel, skin and/ or BB cream (the latter is new I guess?!).
How to use: After skin toner, apply an appropriate amount and smooth over entire face.

Price: around 14,- €/ US$17.50
Bought at: eBay (seogchae)

What I love:
It's moisturizing and non-greasy!

What I don’t like:
The strong pine scent is not my taste.

Will I buy this again? I'm still considering whether to get the cleansing gel, skin toner or BB cream. Not sure yet if I will buy the lotion again!

[ETUDE HOUSE] AC Clinic Intense Trial Kit

A lot of ppl surely know the trouble care line AC Clinic from [ETUDE HOUSE]. I also own the Acne Foam Cleanser, Gel Lotion, Pink Powder Spot, Red Spot Balm and AC Clinic White-Trouble 2 Step Toner
Around 2 weeks ago I saw that the older products got upgraded and are now sold under the names AC Clinic Daily (Acne Foam Cleanser, Toner, Gel Lotion) and AC Clinic Intense (Pink Powder Spot, Pink Powder Water). Even though I own the full sizes already I purchased the new AC Clinic Intense Trial Kit, mainly coz of the newly published Pink Powder Water.

Description: Formulated with Salicylic Acid, AC Clinic delivers trouble care at every stage.
The Trial Kit comes in a travel-friendly, clear plastic bag and contains the following five (5) products:
AC Clinic Daily Acne Foam Cleanser (30ml)
AC Clinic Daily Toner (25ml)
AC Clinic Daily Gel Lotion (25ml)
AC Clinic Intense Pink Powder Spot (5ml) + 10 Cotton Swabs
AC Clinic Intense Pink Powder Water (5ml)
All products got this strong scent you may know already from the older versions. It's probably the scent of the hinoki cypress.
Acne Foam Cleanser: The daily cleanser comes in a small green tube with a twist-off lid. The consistency is thick and creamy like most foam cleansers are.
Toner: You apply the toner with a cotton pad after cleansing your face. This one is colorless!
Gel Lotion: Same as the Toner the Gel Lotion comes in a small translucent bottle with a twist-off lid on top. You need to 'shake' the bottle to get the white, gel-like lotion out. Just massage it with your hands over your face after using the toner.
Pink Powder Spot: This product consists of a liquidity and a powdery part. The liquid has a strong scent as if there is a lot of alcohol inside. The powder has a pink color! To use the powder do not shake the bottle before usage!! Take a cotton swab and dip it in, then coat breakouts with the pink powder.
Pink Powder Water: Like the Pink Powder Spot it has powder inside which is here rather white. Shake the bottle well and apply the water with your fingers to breakouts. You can use it after make-up as well.
I would say that the Pink Powder Spot should be used overnight and the Pink Powder Water at daytime.
Till now I like the Trial Kit. It's nice for travelling or if you just wanna try out the products before buying a full size. This Special Trial Kit For Trouble Care shall last for 4 weeks!
Price: around 13,- €/ US$16
Bought at: eBay (cosmetic.love)

What I love:
The small travel-friendly size. Good for testing the products, too.

What I don’t like:
There is nothing I don't like yet!

Will I buy this again? If I see that it really works...yes! Got some products as full size already at home, though.

[ETUDE HOUSE] SHINI STAR *Clear BB Lotion & Clear Pact*

Yesterday I received two new products: The SHINI STAR Clear BB Lotion and SHINI STAR Clear Pact. This product line by [ETUDE HOUSE] is the SHINee Special Edition. If you don't know it, SHINee are a Korean boy band.
They also released some Lip Balms and Toner/ Skin (the latter under the name 'mal:gem').

Description: Colostrum extract protects the skin from dehydration with no irritation and prevents the loss of moisture in the skin cell layer to maintain the health of skin.
4-Free System: No Paraben, No Ethanol, No Mineral Oil, No Benzophenone.

Clear BB Lotion (SPF20):
Description: BB Lotion moisturizing foundation promotes a moist, brightened and natural complexion look.

The SHINI STAR product line comes in cute baby pink & blue colors with some gold. On the packagings are the descriptions in Korean & English.
The Clear BB Lotion comes in a tube with a pump and 30g contents.
You can get the BB Lotion only in one shade which I would say is a light-medium beige.
The consistency is not very thick - rather lotion-like what would explain the products name: BB Lotion instead of BB Cream. It has just a light coverage, so I have to use a compact powder over it to cover skin blemishes better. The scent is not too strong!
BB Lotion contains Water, Zinc Oxide, Milk Protein Extract, Silica, Rice Extract, Sesame Seed Extract, Soybean Seed Extract, Blackberry Fruit Extract, Oat Kernel Extract, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein and other things.

Clear Pact (#1 Peach):
Description: Moist pressed powder subdues facial oil to promote soft, luminous skin.

The packaging of the Clear Pact has the same colors as the Clear BB Lotion and the powder itself is inside a round baby blue container. 10g are inside, plus a mirror and a small soft powder puff.
I was wondering first why this powder isn't available in beige shades. Anyway, I decided to get #1 Peach (Natural Skin Tone). The other color available is #2 Lavender (Splendid Skin Tone).
This powder got fine shimmer and does mainly mattify my skin. The color is barely visible so don't worry, you won't get a pinkish or violet face. The coverage is light that's why I use it over a compact powder but when my skin is in better condition I will use it alone, too.
The Clear Pact contains Talc, Silica, Corn Starch, Milk Protein Extract, Rice Extract, Sesame Seed Extract, Soybean Seed Extract, Blackberry Fruit Extract, Oat Kernel Extract and more.

I like both products but these are only good when I don't need to cover much. So, I will use them on my 'better' days. I also think these products are good for combination and oily skin coz they say it absorbs sebum.
I wore them for around 4 hours today and my skin didn't look too oily after that time. I didn't notice any breakouts yet as well!

Price: around 11,- €/ US$14.50 (Clear BB Lotion); around 10,-€/ US$13.50 (Clear Pact)
Bought at: eBay (zinopark)

What I love:
There is nothing I really love atm.

What I don’t like:
The coverage could be better.

Will I buy this again? I don't think so!
