[SKINFOOD] Rice Mask Wash off

Today I received 6 new color contact lenses from EOS and the Dolly Eye. I got some blue, green, brown, pink and dark grey ones. All Made in Korea!
I will take pics when I wear them. Probably together with the Fake Lash Reviews.

Now I review another face mask from [SKINFOOD]: the Rice Mask Wash off.
I think this mask is quite popular and I wanted to try it out as well. It's a moisturizing and brightening mask!

Description: A wash-off mask containing rice extract that moisturizes skin and brightens tone. With its texture of ground rice, it leaves skin bright, soft and lustrous.
Like most of the [SKINFOOD] face masks this one comes in a round plastic container. These are good to stack up, what I like. It has a white lid with a simple light brown sticker on it.
The container contains 100g!
To protect the product there is another white cover underneath the lid.
The mask itself is creamy white and contains some granules which are from the rice.
So, this Rice Mask works slightly as a Peeling, too.
The scent is soft and a bit sweet. It reminds me always of a dessert I can get in Germany. It is called "Grießbrei" (semolina porridge) and made of rice as well. You can eat it warm or cold, with cherries or strawberries etc.
The peeling effect isn't very strong but after using the mask my skin feels smoother.
But that's all already! I don't see that it does anything else to my skin yet.

How to use: After washing, apply desired amount onto face, focusing on nose area while avoiding eye and mouth areas. Wait 10 to 15 minutes, and then wash off with warm water.

Price: around 10,- €/ US$12
Bought at: eBay (zinopark)

What I love:
The scent (of sweet rice)!!

What I don’t like:
There is nothing I dislike!

Will I buy this again? I don't think so!

[SKINFOOD] Acorn Jelly Mask

Happy New Year 2012!!

Exactly 1 year ago I celebrated New Year's Eve in Taiwan with my boyfriend. Time goes fast!!

Anyway, I'm getting busy from now on therefore I can't write a review everyday.
For the last time in 2011 I wanna review 2 products: One of them is the Acorn Jelly Mask from [SKINFOOD]. This wash-off mask is good for people with oily skin and large pores.

Description: A mask pack that effectively tightens oil-clogged enlarged pores and exfoliates layers of dead skin cells with powdered acorns from Jiri-mountain.
The Mask comes in a (glass) jar and contains 100g. It has a brown plastic lid and the product description is written on that small booklet. Under the lid is another translucent plastic cover to protect the product.
The Acorn Jelly Mask comes with a small spoon/ spatula which makes it easier to take out the product. It has a brown, jelly-like consistency and becomes more watery when I massage it on my skin. The fragrance is very strong and weird. Smells kinda nutty!
I'm pretty sure that is the scent of acorns.
When I use the mask I massage it over my skin and wait for a few minutes before I wash it off again. Some people say it starts to burn on their skin and that they can barely wait for 1 minute. I don't have that problem, though.
I'm not really sure how the product shall work in such a short time but my pores looking a little bit smaller and some dead skin cells are removed as well.

How to use: After washing, apply an ample amount onto the face and massage gently.
Leave for 1 minute, and then rinse off with lukewarm water.

Price: around 12,- €/ US$16
Bought at: eBay (zinopark)

What I love:
There is nothing I really love!

What I don’t like:
The scent is weird but thats almost all.

Will I buy this again? No, I won't!

I also got a Sample of the Acai Berry Mask which I will review fast, too:
Description: A mask pack that quenches thirsty dry skin with abundunt moisture in the extract of Acai Berries from the Amazon jungle.

This Acai Berry Mask is good for dry skin and comes as full-size in the same design as the Acorn Jelly Mask
It has a gel-like consistency which is slightly pink/ reddish with some red/ brown granules inside. These granules peel your skin plus, it smells like berries!
After using this Mask my skin felt smoother.

How to use: After washing, apply an ample amount onto a damp face and massage gently. Leave for 5 minutes, and the rinse off with lukewarm water.

[Holika Holika] Soda Pore Cleansing *Powder Wash*

[Holika Holika] released a few month ago a product line called Soda Pore Cleansing. It's similar to the 'Baking Powder' line from [ETUDE HOUSE].
The 'Soda Pore Cleansing' line consists of the following products:
- Cleansing Foam
- B.B Deep Cleansing Foam
- Powder Wash
- O2 Bubble Mask
- Cleansing Soda Water
- Cleansing Cream
- B.B Deep Cleansing Oil
- Light Cleansing Oil

I got some of them and will try to review all but now I start with the Powder Wash.

Description: This line is a soda/ baking powder line which helps to remove blackheads and impurities in pores caused by excessive sweat and sebum secretion. Baking soda balances your skin's pH and leaves no gritty residue to clog pores. It is also said to be effective in treating acne skin.
Baking soda is a natural particle that dissolves while cleansing the skin. It is a natural alkaline that neutralizes acids and washes away oils and dirt. It's natural pH balance leaves the skin soft, silky and smooth.
This is a Powder Wash which contains Papaya enzymes to exfoliate and cleans pores efficiently.
The Powder Wash comes in a white plastic bottle with a blue sticker.
It contains 65g and got a flip-top lid.
It contains Baking Powder which is white with some blue particles inside.
It has a citrus-like scent!
The bubbles aren't strong on the pic above coz I used not enough of the product or too much water. When you use an adequate amount you will get nice bubbles and when you mix double amount with less water you can use it like a Face Mask 1-2 times per week.
I use this Powder Wash seldom coz I prefer Cleansing Foams. Therefore I can't really tell if it removes my blackheads but my skin looks cleaner.

How to use: Make bubbles by getting suitable amount with warm water. Apply bubbles onto your face, then massage your face. Rinse off with warm water.

Price: around 15,- €/ US$19
Bought at: eBay (BELLOGIRL)

What I love:
There is nothing I really love.

What I don’t like:
It's not so easy to get the adequate amount to make nice bubbles.

Will I buy this again? No, not the Powder Wash anyway.

[SKINFOOD] Green tea Salt Mask Foam

Another new item I wanna review today is from [SKINFOOD] as well. It's the new Green tea Salt Mask Foam
I got Green tea Salt coz I think that this is good for oily skin. But I'm not really sure about that. Anyway, it says it cleans and refreshes the skin.
It contains Witch Hazel Extract, Broccoli Extract, Camellia Sinensis Extract, Cabbage Extract, Asparagus Extract and Celery Extract. A lot of vegies huh?!

This 'Foam Cleanser' is also available as:
- Lavender tea Salt (Moisture)
- Lemon tea Salt (Remove dead skin cells)

Description: A foaming cleanser infused with Green tea and Himalayan salt that hydrates and detoxifies skin while washing away dirt and oil. Leaves skin soft and supple, like a facial mask does.
The content of 170g comes in a whitish tube with a light green lid. It's a twist off lid again and the tube came sealed.
The Mask Foam has a thick & creamy consistency which is just white. Inside are granules which might be from the salt, so it works also as a peeling.
This foam cleanser has the scent of Green tea and tastes salty.
I tried it out just one time and my skin felt smoother afterwards. But my skin also started to burn around my eyes and mouth. I think it's not very good for sensitive skin!

How to use: Dispense an ample amount onto wet palms and lather. Massage skin and wash off with lukewarm water. Splash with cold water for astringent effects.

Price: around 13,- €/ US$16
Bought at: eBay (zinopark)

What I love:
There is nothing I really love about this product!

What I don’t like:
It burns on my skin!

Will I buy this again? I don' think so! Always trying out new ones....

[Holika Holika] Smoothie Peeling Cream *Sunshine Golden Kiwi*

When I see that a brand release a new product line I always have to get something of it. That also happened when I saw that [Holika Holika] released this year a product line called Smoothie Peeling.

This product line consists of the following items:
- Peeling Cream (Sunshine Golden Kiwi)
- Peeling Jam (Grape Expectation)
- Peeling Gel (Berry Apple Festival)
- Peeling Mist (Lemon Squash)
I got some samples of the Peeling Jam but I purchased the full size of the Peeling Cream coz it looked more interesting to me.

Description: Contains Gold Kiwi, Apricot and natural AHA from orange, lemon and sugar cane which removes skin's old keratin. Known for it’s high Vitamin C content, Gold Kiwi helps to brighten your skin tone.
The Peeling Cream comes in a green & slightly translucent container which contains 75ml.
The green graphics on the front are some fruits like kiwi, pear and apple.
The lid is white with a second cover underneath.
It has a thick & creamy consistency and a beige/ light brown color. Inside the cream are brown beads/ grains which peel your skin. You have to use your fingers (or a Pack Brush like I do) to apply the cream to your face. The fragrance is okay! Smells a bit citrus-like - could be the scent of kiwi.
I don't use this Peeling Cream often coz I'm too lazy and this peeling takes too long for me. I wait for around 20~30 minutes to let it dry and then need a while again to peel it off.
The peeling effect is not bad, though. But I still prefer peelings I can use under the shower etc. Something faster!

How to use: Apply a thin layer on your dry skin. Avoid eye and mouth area. After 10~15 minutes peel/ rub it off. Wash your face with warm water to remove residues.

Price: around 13,- €/ US$16
Bought at: eBay (BELLOGIRL)

What I love:
There is nothing I really love!

What I don’t like:
It takes too long to dry and to peel off again.

Will
I buy this again? Nope, there are way better peeling products on the market.

[Holika Holika] MEDI-MEDI Magnesium Pack *Pore Cleaning*

I own a few Face Masks and most of them are for pore care or trouble skin care. Two of the masks are from the MEDI-MEDI Pack line by [Holika Holika]. I found them super interesting and had to try them out (of course)!

There are 3 different types available:
- Acetyl Pack (AC Clearing wash-off mask)
- Magnesium Pack (Pore Cleaning wash-off mask)
- VitaC Pack (Skin Brightening wash-off mask)

I purchased Acetyl and Magnesium and start with the Review from the Magnesium Pack.
This one is good for those people with oily skin. It removes sebum and has a pore minimizing effect.

Description: Magnesium derived from volcanic ashes helps to make a clean and smooth pores by controlling excessive oil and sebum. It makes fresh and baby skin by containing Magnesium 1,000ppm.
Use it instead of clay masks because clay mask is able to clog pores. Clay does not have desinfection or soothing effect but Magnesium Pack has them.
The product comes in a white round container with a green lid. It's not a really big container but there are still 70ml inside.
When you twist off the lid there is another cover to protect the product from coming out.
The Magnesium Pack has a green/greyish color and a thick & creamy consistency.
The scent is okay, too.
There is no spoon or spatula included, so I apply the pack with a Pack Brush to my face. Otherwise you have to use your fingers but make sure that they are clean.
With the brush I can apply the pack very easy. When it gets dry I wash it off with warm water.
My face is brighter and smoother afterwards. It also looks cleaner. I like it!
How to use: After cleansing and toner, apply it to all over your face except the eye and lip area. About 10 ~15 minutes later, wash your face with lukewarm water clearly.
*Use 1~2 times a week

Price: around 13,- €/ US$16
Bought at: eBay (BELLOGIRL)

What I love:
My face looks cleaner and feels softer after I washed the pack off.

What I don’t like:
There is nothing I don't like. Maybe just that there is no spoon/ spatula included.

Will I buy this again?
It will last for a long time but I would.

[ETUDE HOUSE] Happy Teatime Cleansing Foam *Milk tea*

The cleanser I currently use in the morning is the Happy Teatime Cleansing Foam. I took the Milk tea one coz I like cosmetic with milk inside. It's good for dry skin.

You can get some other tea flavours:
- Peach tea
- Lemon tea
- Aloe tea
- Green tea

Description: Supplies abundant foam and refreshing tea scent to cleanse and nourish complexion.
The tube is kept in nice beige and light brown shades like milk tea. It comes with a simple flip-top lid, so you need to squeeze the content of 150ml out of the tube.
I use this cleanser for more than 3 month now and I almost finished it.
The consistency is creamy and rich like most of such cleansers. I like the soft scent of milk!
After washing my skin doesn't get too dry.

Price: around 7,- €/ US$9
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:

The fragrance and my skin is less dry after washing.

What I don’t like:
There is nothing I don't like.

Will I buy this again?
Yes, it's quite affordable! Maybe try the 'Pach tea' or 'Green tea' Cleansing Foam coz I was reading it's good for oily skin?!

[ETUDE HOUSE] MISSING U Bee Happy! *Wash Off Pack*

Recently [ETUDE HOUSE] and [SKINFOOD] were releasing product lines with honey. I found that interesting so I had to get something of these!
One item I got was the Wash Off Pack from the new MISSING U Bee Happy! line. Actually I ordered the Sleeping Pack coz I just own two of these but I received the Wash Off Pack which is also fine.
The Pack contains Honey Extract, Macadamia Seed Oil, Olive Oil and Prunella Vulgaris Leaf Extract.

Description: It's scent which is honey circle floral is so sweet, and pack which includes honey concentrate will smoothly spread out into your skin and protect your skin layer. Specialized honey dosage form will make your skin brighter and moisturized.
The Wash Off Pack contains 100ml and comes in a translucent container which got stripes like a bee. The lid is dark brown! There was a thin plastic cover over the product but I removed it already.
The product itself has a thick and sticky consistency like honey. It's yellowish with a nice scent.
I apply the Pack with a Pack Brush (also bought from ETUDE HOUSE) to my face and the consistence becomes more watery. Probably because of my body temperature?!
After I removed the product again my face felt smoother! I don't know if my skin got brighter, though. As a Caucasian my skin is pale enough I guess. Anyway, I use this Wash Off Pack when my skin feels dry.
How to use: Take a proper amount and spread it over your face. Wait 10~15 minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water.

Price: around 13,- €/ US$17
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:

The smell + the smooth feeling after washing off the pack.

What I don’t like:
It's so sticky!!

Will I buy this again?
I don't think so! Maybe the Sleeping Pack I wanted to have.
