[ETUDE HOUSE] Face Conditioning CREAM

When I wear make-up it always gets oily or flaky after a few hours. Because of that I'm constantly looking for products that shall reduce sebum secretion yet are still moisturizing.
I have used different primers and make-up fixing sprays so far but nothing really satisfied me and so I got now [ETUDE HOUSE]'s latest product: the Face Conditioning CREAM.

As far as I know there are no more products in this range!

Description: This is a quick and easy makeup boosting cream that smoothly conditions skin with its light and soft texture for a makeup-ready complexion. SPF25/PA++

The Face Conditioning CREAM comes inside a pearl-white paper box with a mirror print on the front. The description and ingredient list is also in Korean and English on the box.
The product itself is inside a white tube which contains 75g and comes with a silver twist-off lid.
Ingredients:
Beside Coconut Oil, Olive Fruit Oil and Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil it also contains Water, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Butylene Glycol, Phenyl Trimethicone, Glycerin, Cyclopentasiloxane, Arbutin, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Titanium Dioxide, Cetyl Alcohol, Cyclohexasiloxane, Sodium Hyaluronate, Silica, Lipase, Chitosan, Alcohol, Xanthan Gum, Disodium Edta, Adenosine, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance and some more.
The light-scented cream which has Whitening, Anti-Wrinkle and Skin Balancing properties has a creamy consistency and a white color. When I first saw the white cream I was afraid that it will make my face too white but when I apply just a bit and spread it well it brightens up my skin only. Asians might like the whitening effect way more I believe!
[ETUDE HOUSE] recommend to use the Face Conditioning CREAM right after using a toner when you have oily skin and after a face moisturizer when you have rather dry skin.
I have oily skin with dry areas, so I prefer to use a normal face cream before using this product.
I mainly apply it on my T Zone and till now I kinda like it. It doesn't keep my skin oil-free and moisturized for the whole day, though, but my make-up lasts longer and doesn't look as greasy as without this cream.
How to use: After applying toner, spread a certain amount of Face Conditioning Cream evenly onto face.

Price: About 11,- €/ US$15
Bought at: eBay (f2plus1)

What I love:
My make-up lasts longer!

What I don’t like:
The white color because I personally don't need whiter skin.

Will I buy this again? Not sure yet! Since I use only a little amount I think the tube might last for awhile.

[Holika Holika] Oil Queen Cotton *PRIMER, PACT & MAKEUP FIXER*

[Holika Holika]'s product line for oily skin, named Oil Queen Cotton, was on my wish list since I saw them for the first time. The first product which I got was the Oil Queen Cotton PACT, followed by the PRIMER and MAKEUP FIXER. The powder pact is available as a loose powder as well but I didn't get this one because it reminds me too much of the [innisfree] NO-SEBUM Mineral Powder.

Description: No more too much oily skin trouble!

The whole Oil Queen Cotton line comes in the same cute design: a light blue/ pink outer packaging with white clouds on it. The descriptions are always in Korean and English on it.

Oil Queen Cotton PRIMER:
Description: Sebum control primer that controls overflow of sebum and changes the skin from an oily skin to a soft skin. SPF15

The primer is inside a white bottle with a pump on top and contains 30ml.
Some ingredients are Water, Silica, Cotton Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Geranium Maculatum Oil, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Fragrance and a lot more.
All products are free of Mineral Oil, Paraben, Talc, Vaseline and Ethanol, so it's also good for sensitive skin.

The soft scented, lotion-like primer has a whitish color with a hint of apricot/ beige. Because of its color it brightens up my skin what I don't like too much. That might be good for Asians but my skin is pale enough already, so I would prefer a colorless primer.
Anyway, my skin feels moisturized, soft and looks less shiny afterwards but that effect only last for a few hours.

How to use: After base skin care, softly apply focusing on parts with sebum.

Price: around 10,- €/ US$12
Bought at: eBay (f2plus1)

Oil Queen Cotton PACT:
Description: Sebum control Pact that controls overflow of sebum and changes the skin from an oily skin to a soft skin. SPF30

The powder pact is housed inside a white compact container which contains 8.5g of product.
A sponge and mirror are included!
The main ingredient is again Cotton Extract 0.05%. The ingredient list on the powder pacts outer packaging is written in Korean only but it's also free of Mineral Oil, Paraben, Talc, Vaseline and Ethanol.
The Oil Queen Cotton PACT is available in one shade only: white!! It's a finishing powder which you apply after your make-up. This way it will help to keep your skin longer oil-free. But be careful while applying because too much of it makes your skin white.
How to use: Use the built-in puff to take the legitimate amount and lightly tap on the face, focusing on the T-zone.

Price: around 9,- €/ US$7

Bought at: eBay (f2plus1)

Oil Queen Cotton MAKEUP FIXER:
Description: Sebum control functional mist that controls overflow of sebum and lengthens the duration of makeup.

The rather small, milky white bottle with a spray pump contains 70ml.
Beside Cotton Extract 0.05% it also contains Water, Alcohol, Fragrance, Calamine, Wild Geranium Oil and Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract
It shall contain Island Glacier Water, too.
This makeup fixer is colorfree without a strong scent. It has a very fine mist what is good because so I won't get big water drops on my face or make-up.
Unfortunately, my face still gets oily after a few hours and I already used all three products together.
How to use: After makeup, lightly spray on the entire face focusing on parts with sebum.
Shake well before usage.

Price: around 10,- €/ US$8
Bought at: eBay (f2plus1)

All in all, it's quite a nice product line for oily skin. It doesn't keep my skin oil-free for a super long time, though, but it still does a good job and might work way better on your skin!
However, I would prefer a colorless primer instead of one that brightens up my already pale skin tone. I will use it mostly on my T-zone only (same as the powder pact).
Among these products I would re-purchase the MAKEUP FIXER!

[baviphat] ISLAND GIRLS BB Primer Fix

When I started with korean cosmetic, [baviphat] was one of the first brands I used and liked. I loved the cute packagings of their skin care lines and also received samples of BB creams and primers. A primer I liked, and got as a full size later, was the ISLAND GIRLS BB Primer Fix. I got that one at eBay, as most of my stuff. Unfortunately, I bought it from a chinese seller because it was way cheaper BUT it turned out that it was a fake. So, if you buy products at eBay be careful!!

Description: A must-have item for adhering effect of BB cream and bright skin.
Contains Lotus Extracts and Aloe Extracts for easy application of makeup, while subtle pearl tint provides brightness to skin. Mineral-rich ingredients such as pearl and coral powder will offer a fresh sensation of makeup for extended hours.
The BB Primer Fix comes in a cheap-looking brown tube with a sticker around it. I don't really like its design! The tube contains 45ml and has a flip-top lid.
The description is in Korean only but the product contains the following main ingredients:
Art Pearl, Shiny Satin Pearl: For bright and vivid skin expression.
Long Lasting Silicone Gel: Adhering effect of BB cream and covers uneven facial textures.
Mineral Effect: Pearl and Coral Powder maintain fresh make-up condition.
The consistency is lotion-like and has a very nice soft scent. The primer is ivory-white but changes to a pearly pink on the skin. It's easy to spread over my face, feels moisturizing and gives my face a glowing finish. I also noticed that it brightens my skin tone!
The whole product reminds me a little bit of the Nymph Aura Boosting Primer.
The only thing I don't like again is the oil-control. My skin gets oily after a short time but I will have this problem with almost each product.
How to use: Evenly apply suitable amount on your face before using BB cream.
You can also mix the primer with your BB cream!

Price: around 15,- €/ US$18.50
Bought at: eBay (BELLOGIRL)

What I love:

The glowing finish and moisturizing feeling.

What I don’t like:
The packaging looks kinda cheap. It has no good oil-control.

Will I buy this again? I think I would! But probably will rather get one for oily skin.

[ETUDE HOUSE] Baby Skin Base *Baby Green*

Long long time ago I was reading that green neutralizes reddish skin. From that day on I started to use from time to time those concealer sticks with one green and one beige site.
When I was looking for face primers from Korean brands I found [ETUDE HOUSE]'s Baby Skin Base which is available in two (2) different shades: #1 Baby Green and #2 Baby Apricot.
As you can guess, I got #1 Baby Green
I can't find these products on eBay anymore, so I think it might be discontinued already?! But don't worry, [ETUDE HOUSE] sells some similar bases like the Dream On Base.

Description: Skin Softening & Moisturizing Powder Gel Makeup Base.
Delicate coverage for natural, radiant complexion and tone.
All Day Moisture Rich & Oil Absorbing Base Makeup- Fine, silky powder solution.
Promotes smooth, even complexion- baby skin presentation with reduced pore visibility.
The Baby Skin Base comes in a milky white translucent bottle made of plastic. You can see the green color through the bootle, plus how much product you got left. The lid and pump is kept in a light pink.
30ml are inside!
The description on the bottle is in korean only, so I can't read the ingredients but the product seems to be free of Ethanol, Paraben and Titanium Dioxide.
The consistency is like a BB Cream, just a bit runnier. The scent is very soft what I like a lot.
The green color makes my face brighter, therefore I can't use too much otherwise my face looks greenish-white. I apply it instead of a face primer and mainly to areas which are reddish like my nose and cheeks.
The Baby Skin Base is a nice product which helps me to reduce the redness on my skin.
It also might cover some pores but I'm still using a Pore Cover Balm before applying BB Cream/ Compact Powder
Right after applying it gives my skin a matte finish but the oil control isn't very good, though.
How to use: Apply with finger tips or sponge over your face until evenly blended into skin. Then apply makeup foundation/ powder pact.

Price: around 15,- €/ US$19
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:
It reduces the redness!

What I don’t like:
It makes my skin greenish-white when I use too much. Oil control isn't good enough for me as well.

Will I buy this again? Nope! Not sure if it's still available, though. Might try out another base!
