[innisfree] rosemary sebum & pore lotion

In the evening I like to use a lotion under my face cream. Usually it's a product for acne or oil skin and so I came to [innisfree]'s rosemary sebum & pore lotion. This lotion belongs to the Nature Solution Skincare Line and is available in five (5) different kinds:
- rose clear skin
- rosemary sebum & pore lotion
- jasmine aqua capsule lotion
- camomile mild soothing lotion
- lavender moisture firming lotion

I got oily skin with some enlarged pores and dry areas. Because of that I got the rosemary type but would also try out the camomile one for sensitive skin.

Description: Enriched with rosemary and green complex to maintain optimal moisture balance and to create clean and clear skin.

The clear plastic bottle has a silver twist-off lid and contains 200ml. The sticker on the bottle is made of recycled paper and has only the description and ingredient list in Korean on it. Since the bottle has no pump you have to squeeze it to get the lotion out.
The sebum & pore lotion contains 200mg Rosemary Extract and Mint Extract. Rosemary controls sebum while mint keeps your pores elastic. This product line is free of Paraben, Mineral Oil, Artificial Dyes and Animal Material.
The lightweight lotion has a milky white color and changes to a watery consistency when I spread it over my face. It moisturizes and mattifies my skin after it got absorbed. My pores are less visible as well. Unfortunately my skin sometimes gets dry and flaky on some areas and therefore a mattifying product alone is not always good for my skin. I have to use another face cream over it afterwards! The scent is kinda strong and smells like herbs - probably rosemary.
[innisfree]'s rosemary sebum & pore lotion does a good job in keeping my oily skin areas matte and minimizes the appearance of pores. If you like a natural product and want a moisturizing yet mattifying product for your oily/combination skin you can give it a try!
How to use: Smooth in the morning and/or evening over thoroughly cleansed and toned skin of face and neck.

Price: About 10,- €/ US$13.50
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:
The mattifying effect and that my pores are less visible (the smaller ones anyway).

What I don’t like:
Not moisturizing enough (or too mattifying) for dry skin areas. Can use it mostly in combination with a face cream only.

Will I buy this again? I don't think so but the camomile one would be interesting to try, too.

[innisfree] green persimmon pore special kit

Sometimes I see an interesting product and don't dare to buy it because of its high price. In this case I'm always happy when I can get samples like the green persimmon pore special kit from [innisfree].
This skincare line is particularly suitable for people with enlarged pores and consists of the following products:

- pore toner
- pore pad
- pore essence
- pore pack&cream

The special kit contains the products in smaller sizes - the pads are not included in this kit, though.
The samples come inside a small paper box and the whole line is kept in turquoise and white colors. The special kit has no english description while I'm sure the full sizes got it.
pore toner (15ml):
This toner, formulated with pure Jeju green persimmon extracts, helps manage pores while the ethanol-free formula softly refines your skin texture.

pore essence (10ml):
This essence, formulated with pure Jeju green persimmon extracts, helps manage pores while the moisture popping essence gently enwraps your skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth.

pore pack&cream (5ml):
This pack & cream, formulated with pure Jeju green persimmon extracts, helps manage pores while the 'Pore Re-Forming Technology' builds up a pore tightening barrier, leaving your skin feeling smooth and sleek.
All products have a very nice scent, kinda fruity and yet citrus-like.

The toner is colorless and leaves a refreshing and cooling feeling on my skin.
Apply it with a cotton pad after washing your face.

The pore essence has a watery consistency and a whitish color. It moisturizes my skin, slightly tightens my pores and mattyfies my skin.
Just apply it right after the toner!

The pack&cream is a 2-in-1 product: it can be used as a face cream or as sleeping pack.
When using the white gel-cream as face cream just apply an appropriate amount to your face (especially on areas with enlarged pores).
As sleeping pack, apply the product to your whole face before going to sleep and wash it off the next morning.
Since I have only the special kit I can't tell if these products really improve ones skin texture.
I like the toner because of its cooling effect and the essence/ cream makes my pores smaller looking and my skin less shiny.

Price (sample kit): around 4,50,- €/ US$6

Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:
The cooling effect of the toner and the matte finish of the essence. The scent is also quite nice!
What I don’t like:
Nothing yet!

Will I buy this again? Might consider of getting the toner as full size (US$17).

[innisfree] jejubija anti-trouble lotion

A korean skincare brand I use recently got a product line for troubled skin as well. The [innisfree] jejubija anti-trouble line consists of the following products:
- cleansing gel
- facial foam
- skin
- lotion
- spot essence W
- spot essence R
- spot patch
- recover gel
- mist
- BB cream
For now I got the jejubija anti-trouble lotion only and use it mainly in the evening (as a moisturizer in combination with the aloe vera 92% soothing gel). I also received some samples of the spot essences which you apply on blemishes ('W' was a white essence and 'R' a green one if I'm not wrong).

Description: Enriched with torreya seed extract from pure Jeju island. Jejubija Anti-Trouble helps control blemish for clear skin.
The box, which contains the 100ml tube, is blue and white colored and printed with soy ink. The description on it is mostly in korean but got some informations in english, too.
Description: This watery moisturizing lotion helps to clear and treat troubled skin with its outstanding protection power of Jeju torreya seed oil and natural originated salicylic acid.

The tube is kept in different shades of blue and has a twist-off lid. Some ingredients inside the lotion are Water, Torreya Nucifera Seed Oil, Willow Bark Extract, Niacinamide, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Camellia Japonica Leaf Extract, Orchid Extract, Opuntia Coccinellifera Fruit Extract, Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, Olive Oil, Alcohol, Silica, Abies Sibirica Oil, Juniperus Communis Fruit Oil, Juniperus Virginiana Oil and more.
The moisturizing lotion is watery but not too runny. It gets absorbed quite fast without leaving a greasy film on my skin. What I don't like much is the strong herbal scent. It has the same pine scent as the [ETUDE HOUSE] AC Clinic White-Trouble products.
I'm quite satisfied with this product till now even though it just fights some skin troubles. I don't think it will help people with acne-prone skin but you could give it a try. I'm still thinking about getting the cleansing gel, skin and/ or BB cream (the latter is new I guess?!).
How to use: After skin toner, apply an appropriate amount and smooth over entire face.

Price: around 14,- €/ US$17.50
Bought at: eBay (seogchae)

What I love:
It's moisturizing and non-greasy!

What I don’t like:
The strong pine scent is not my taste.

Will I buy this again? I'm still considering whether to get the cleansing gel, skin toner or BB cream. Not sure yet if I will buy the lotion again!

[innisfree] Jeju volcanic pore clay mask (mini)

Recently I was looking for more stuff from [innisfree] which uses natural ingredients - similar to [SKINFOOD] or [THE BODY SHOP]. I strumbled over their Jeju volcanic products and wanted to try out something of it because this line seems to be quite popular and is good for those with oily skin!
[innisfree] sells some of their face masks now in smaller 30ml sizes, so I got the Jeju volcanic pore clay mask (mini). Of course, you can get the 100ml size as well!

The following masks are available as mini tubes:
- Jeju volcanic pore clay mask
- almond sugar scrub
- aloe soothing gel mask
- red ginseng mask
- olive heating massage mask
- blueberry firming mask

Description: A clay mask with Jeju volcanic clusters to attach to sebum and purify pores.
While the big size comes in a jar, the small 30ml one is inside a brown tube. Around this tube is a sticker made of brown recycling paper with the description on it (Korean only)
It has a twist-off lid!
Beside Jeju volcanic clusters the mask also contains scoria and green complex.
I found the following informations about Jeju volcanic online:
This pure and rare ingredient, formulated from solidified lava caused by volcanic eruptions in Jeju island, absorbs impurities and sebum that are deeply embedded within skin pores.
The consistency of this mask is creamy and dries fast on my skin. It has a brownish-grey color and a scent I find typical for those clay masks.
Since the tube is small I apply just a thin layer to my skin.
I apply the clay mask to my skin and let it dry, then wash it off with warm water. Afterwards my skin feels softer and pores looking cleaner. But to see better results I have to use it over a longer time.
Together with this product I got samples of the eco science skin and lotion. When I tried them out I found the brownish color and the strong herbal scent weird. They contain marine plants from Jeju ocean and anti-aging ingredients.
How to use: Apply clay mask to cleansed and toned skin. Massage 1 minute and leave on for 10~15 minutes, then rinse with warm water. 1~2 times a week.

Price (30ml size): around 7,- €/ US$9
Bought at: eBay (hsckoreanimports)

What I love:
My face feels more smooth and pores looking cleaner.

What I don’t like:
There is nothing I don't like yet!

Will I buy this again? Might get the full size or one of the other mini masks.

[innisfree] NO-SEBUM Mineral Powder

[innisfree] is one of those brands I almost never buy probably because their packagings aren't as cute as from some other Korean brands (and I like cute stuff).
They remind me a bit of [SKINFOOD] and [THE BODY SHOP] because they also use only environment-friendly botanical nutrients and essence extracted from organic plants and herbs that aid in healing various skin problems. As you know I'm always complaining about products and their oil control but I found this one product from [innisfree] which helps me reducing the shine a lot: NO-SEBUM Mineral Powder.

It is free of Paraben, Artificial Fragrance, Animal Ingredients, Artificial Colors, Mineral Oil and Talc.

You also can get it as Powder Pact and Primer!

Description: It is a sebum powder essence that absorbs dead skin cells and sebum with vegetable powder from natural origin. Also provides silky smooth textures and protects the skin.
The loose powder comes in a small round plastic container which is mint green and contains 5g. My one is from 2011 and looks different from the older version - they changed the packaging design.
The powder contains Jeju natural mineral and natural originated mint!
A super soft powder puff is included, too.
Inside the container is a plastic lid with some holes (like a sieve). Under that lid is the loose powder. You have to shake it a bit to get the powder on the sponge.
The powder itself is white, therefore make sure that you spread it over your face well or you might look like a ghost. It is also slightly scented! It smells like herbs and mint but you just smell it when you hold it close to your nose.
I use this Mineral Powder as the last step of my make-up routine and I can say that my skin looks less shiny than without. I tried it out the last two (2) days for always 9 hours and my skin looked better but, of course, it didn't make my skin 100% oil/ shine free. My face felt very smooth right after applying, too! I liked that!!

Price: around 9,50,- €/ US$12.50
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:
My face looks less oily than without the powder + it made my skin soft.

What I don’t like:
There is nothing I dislike yet.

Will I buy this again? Probably or try out the other ones (Powder Pact, Primer).
