[SKINFOOD]'s Peach Sake line is probably one of their most popular product line. This products are specially made for people with enlarged pores and oily skin. I reviewed the Peach Sake Pore Serum here and will review the Peach Sake Pore BB Cream in #1 Light Beige now. These two are the only products I own from this line atm!
You can get the following products:
- Peach Sake Toner
- Peach Sake Emulsion
- Peach Sake Pore Serum
- Peach Sake Pore BB Cream
- Peach Sake Pore Pact
- Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder
- Peach Sake Sunscreen Lotion
- Peach Sake Pore Essence Mask Sheet
Description: Containing Peach extract that soothes oily, troubled skin, and Sake that controls excessive sebum secretion, this light-textured blemish cream effectively conceals skin impurities and gives a natural coverage for a flawless complexion. SPF20 PA+
The peachy pink tube has a white pump on the bottom and contains 30ml. The long lid comes in a wood-look - like a sake bottle.
Usually I don't really like BB Creams with pumps coz I have problems with getting the product out but this one here is easy to use.
The two main ingredients in this BB Cream are Peach Extract (60mg) and Sake Extract (60mg). Since the ingredient list is completely in Korean I can't read everything.
I got #1 Light Beige which looks like it has a yellowish/ peach undertone what I don't really like.
The light creamy consistency, with its slight peach scent, is easy to spread over my face.
The Peach Sake Pore BB Cream is a nice product but only when I apply a thin layer, otherwise the color doesn't fit my natural skin tone well.
I like that it covers some of my pores without using too much product.
The coverage is okay while the oil control could be better. My skin looks shiny/ oily after a short time again!

How to use: After daily basic skincare regimen, apply and ample amount evenly onto skin to smooth the texture.

What I love:
It covers some pores without using a lot of product, plus the peach scent is nice!
What I don’t like:
The yellowish beige doesn't fit my natural skin tone well. Can apply just a thin layer!
Will I buy this again? I don't think so! Would like to try out the Silky Finish Powder or Pore Pact, though.
This is my fav bb cream so far and I used it in shade Natural Beige <3
ReplyDelete1. Suit my skintone
2. Doesn't make my skin break out
the only thing i dislike is oil control
<3 But however, the most important thing i'm looking for a good bb cream is will it suit my skintone :P
Good to hear that you like this BB Cream.. =) I wished the color would suit my skin tone better. ><
DeleteI've got this in #2, which I guess is the medium beige. It matches my skin tone pretty well so I lucked out. This was my first BB cream, and although I will try out some more, Peach Sake is working pretty well for me. I agree that it doesn't really control oil, but I haven't found anything that does (yet).
ReplyDeleteGood to read that you like the BB cream. =) My skin tone is just too pale with some red areas, so the shade doesn't suit me well.
DeleteI usually like BB creams without any undertone (just beige) or those who are slightly greyish.
I'm not crazy about Skinfood's creams too because I'm neutral toned as well, so I love Skin79, Missha, Holika Holika, and so on. this one seems a bit yellowish too. blah D: I've heard a bunch of good reviews on the Finishing Powder, though. hope you'll get it and review it so I can see if it's that good :D
ReplyDeletelove you blog, cheers.
MISSHA products tend to break me out, so I don't really like this brand. But Holika Holika is very nice, too. =)
DeleteOrdered two new BB cream, hopefully the shades suit my skin tone better. =)
I've wanted to try this, but after the peach sake serum broke me out, I've been to afraid to try the other peach sake products. D:
ReplyDeleteThen better try another BB cream. =/ What skin type are you?
DeleteOh geez, that looks like almost a flourescent peach tone. lol Usually the other Skin Food BB Creams are closer to neutral without being grey. I guess I'd pass on trying this one.
ReplyDeleteI would say that the yellowish shade might suit asians skin but I don't know. It's not perfect for my pale skin anyway. ><
DeleteOh my gosh, that's so yellow! I'm way too pale for that hahaha. I have the pore finish powder and it's not very good, it goes on extremely white and chalky even if you're very careful. :(
ReplyDeleteYes, it is quite yellowish. Looks bad on my white skin when I apply a thick layer. ><
DeleteToo bad you don't like the silky powder. =( It makes the skin more white yeah?!
