[SKINFOOD] FRESH APPLE *Mild Pore Peeling Gel & Sparkling Pore Cream*

Recently I received my ordered FRESH APPLE products from [SKINFOOD]. I reviewed already the FRESH APPLE Smooth Pore Cream and got now the Mild Pore Peeling Gel, the Sparkling Pore Cream and samples of the Toner, Emulsion and Serum.
This product line is recommended for oily skin with enlarged pores

A No Sebum Spot Serum is now available as well!!

Description: Unripe green apple extract and carbonated water controls sebum production and tightens pores.
[Fresh Apple Story]
Unripe is an apple that tastes bitter and unripe which cares sebum and contact pores, which is eventually beneficial for pore care.
[Carbonated Water Strory]
Primary carbonated mineral water is one of the world's three "mysterious orient" water is called a freshness to the skin will be soft.

FRESH APPLE Mild Pore Peeling Gel:
The peeling comes in a greenish tube, same as those of cleansing foams. It has an metallic twist-off lid and contains 150ml. It has exactly the same design as the Smooth Pore Cream - just bigger.
The description on the back of the tube is completely in Korean, so it's hard for me to read the ingredients.
But I found out that it contains 150mg Carbonated Water and 750mg Green Apple Extract. These two are the main ingredients as well.
The consistency is gel-like and has a slight whitish color. The Mild Pore Peeling Gel can be used by all skin types coz it doesn't contain any harsh granules like many other face scrubs.
I apply it to my dry skin and rub it over my whole face until the product starts to peel off, then I wash it off with warm water.
Like all products in this line it smells for me like cucumber but that's probably the green apple. It doesn't have that sweet apple scent you might know from other apple products.
How to use: After washing and towel-drying, massage onto face in circular motion, and rinse with warm water.
Price: around 14,- €/ US$17.50
Bought at: eBay (gooditem2012)

What I love:
It's gentle enough for sensitive skin!

What I don’t like:
There is nothing I don't like.

Will I buy this again? No, it will last for a long time and should be enough.

FRESH APPLE Sparkling Pore Cream:
Description: A cooling and hydrating pore tightener with fresh unripe green apple extract and carbonated water that controls sebum production and tightens pores.

The face cream is inside a greenish (glass) jar, has also a metallic lid and contains 50g.
On the bottom is the description and Korean and English (can be opened).
As many other products the cream got a second cover underneath the lid. The main ingredients are Green Apple Extract (5,000mg) and Carbonated Water (2,500mg).
The refreshing gel cream does moisturize well and get absorbed quite fast. It has a whitish color and the same green apple scent as the other products in this line.
A very nice face cream! I wished it would sparkle/ tingle a bit on the face, though, since it contains carbonated water.
How to use: After emulsion or serum application, dispense an ample amount onto the palm and smooth over the entire face.

Price: around 17,50,- €/ US$21.50
Bought at: eBay (gooditem2012)

What I love:
It refreshes and moisturizes my skin without getting too oily.

What I don’t like:
Nothing yet!

Will I buy this again? Maybe I would but I'm not sure!

FRESH APPLE Sparkling Pore Gift Set & Sparkling Pore Serum:
Beside the two full size products I also got some samples. The Sparkling Pore Gift Set contains the Sparkling Pore Toner and the Sparkling Pore Emulsion with each 5ml content.
Both products are colorless while the Emulsion has a thicker texture than the Toner - it's still rather runny, though.
The Serum has a white lotion-like consistency and I find it a bit similar to the Peach Sake Pore Serum
Price: around 3,60,- €/ US$4.30 (Gift Set);  around 1,60,- €/ US$2 (5 Serum Samples)
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

[ETUDE HOUSE] Peel so good foam cleanser *Enzyme Peel*

After I finished the Apple Soul AC Therapy Cleansing Foam I started to use the Green tea Salt Mask Foam but omg, my skin started to burn so badly. I currently suffer from dry and red skin again and that salt mask foam (used together with the clarisonic Mia brush) is too harsh for my sensitive/ dry skin. It felt as if it got burned! Immediately after I rinsed my face with clear water I applied the Yogurt Wash-off Pack with kiwi. Afterwards my skin felt a lot better!

Because of that I switched to another cleansing foam: the Peel so good foam cleanser from [ETUDE HOUSE]. I got #2 Enzyme Peel which is the medium strength one.
This foam cleanser is available in three (3) strength:
- #1 Natural Peel: * light (yellow)
- #2 Enzyme Peel: *** medium (blue)
- #3 Diamond Peel: ***** strong (pink)

Description: Peel so Good? Feel so Good~ Cleanse & Peel
Enzyme formulated facial foam cleanser supplies a thorough cleanse with a smooth peel.
The Enzyme Peel comes in a tube with different shades of blue and contains 130ml.
The flipt-top lid is white and the product is easy to squeeze out.
This foam cleanser contains Enzyme and Hyaluronic Acid
The clear gel-like consistency has some white particles inside for a fine scrub. I feel that this peeling is gentle enough for my dry/ sensitive skin. If you have normal skin you can try out the Diamond Peel but for me it might be too strong.
The scent is fresh - nothing sweet or fruity!
Since I got oily skin which is also sensitive and becomes dry & flakey sometimes, I need a gentle peeling instead of a harsh facial scrub. Therefore, this one is a good choice!
The exfoliating effect is ok and this foam cleanser can be used every evening.
How to use: Apply to wet face and lather. Massage thoroughly and rinse with warm water.
Avoid contact with eyes!

Price: around 10,- €/ US$13
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:
The peeling is gentle enough for everyday use! Good for my oily/ sensitive/ dry skin.

What I don’t like:
There is nothing I dislike!

Will I buy this again? I'm not sure! Maybe I will try out Natural Peel.

[SKINFOOD] Black Sesame Hot Mask

A face mask from [SKINFOOD] I use as peeling occasionally is the Black Sesame Hot Mask.
This heating mask is highly moisturizing and provides deep cleansing. I would recommend it for almost all skin types except for very sensitive skin.

Description: Warm heat mask with salt and sugar powder to deep cleanse wastes in rough skin with accumulated keratin and with nutritious black sesame powder to make smooth skin.
Like the Rice Mask and the Egg White Pore Mask the Black Sesame Hot Mask is inside a medium-sized milky white but still translucent container. As I said before already, I like those round containers coz they can be stacked up. You get 110g of this peeling mask!
I think that underneath the twist-off lid/ cap was a second cover again but I threw it away already.
Inside the container the mask has a thick and slightly sticky consistency. When I massage it over my moist face it gets a rather oil-like texture. I don't feel a strong heating effect, though.
The color of the mask is charcoal grey/ brownish but looks also a bit clear on the skin. I can see the black sesame seeds which exfoliate the skin. The scent is from the sesame as well.
Some ingredients of the Black Sesame Hot Mask are Sucrose (Sugar), Glycerine, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Powder, Ether Myristate, Lanolin Wax, Dimethicone, Methyl Paraben and Parfum.
The peeling effect is acceptable but could be better, though. I also hoped that it will heat up more. What I don't like is that the mask becomes rather oily on the skin.

How to use: After washing, apply to wet face, avoiding eye areas. Massage in circular motion, focusing on dry areas, wait 3-5 minutes, and then wash off with warm water.
I
f used in a hot environment such as a bathroom or sauna, mask can overheat.

Price: around 9,- €/ US$12
Bought at: eBay (ideaseller_kr)

What I love:
There is nothing I really love on this mask.

What I don’t like:
That the mask becomes oily and doesn't heat up much.

Will I buy this again? No, I don't think I will.

[baviphat] Peach All-in-one Peeling Gel

[baviphat] was one of the first korean cosmetic brands I tried out and I liked them because of their natural ingredients and cute designs. Unfortunately, I hardly find any new stuff by this brand at eBay or other shops outside Korea. And I would like to try out some things like the INDI GIRL WATER CREAM STEAM or the Sunny Lady A.C Care SUN.
Anyway, the first face peeling I got was the [baviphat] Peach All-in-one Peeling Gel. A face peeling/ scrub is necessary for me because my -sometimes- dry skin also becomes flakey.

You can also get a Lip Balm and a Waterful Cream from this Peach line.

Description: Exfoliating Effect + Pore Care + Brightening Effect
Gommage type Peeling Gel effectively removes dead skin cells and wastes inside pores by containing a natural cellulose ingredient.
Typically for [baviphat] products are the cute packaging. The All-in-one Peeling Gel comes in a round container which looks like a peach: mainly beige colored, a bit pink on top and a green leaf. The container conatins 100g and has a twist-off lid.
As some other products this one here also got a second cover to protect the Peeling Gel. The included spoon makes it easy to take out the gel, plus it's more hygienic.
The main ingredient is Peach Extract which exfoliate the skin and removes wastes. It's good for all skin types coz it doesn't contain harsh grains or beads like some other face scrubs.
The consistency is gel-like but also looks kinda clumpy. It feels like there is a lot of water inside, too. You have to apply it to your dry face and rub it off by massaging it over your skin. Then wash your face with warm water.
The All-in-one Peeling Gel shall smell like peaches but I don't like it. The fragrance this peeling left behind after washing it off my skin is slighty better, though.
The Exfoliating Effect is not the best but still ok. It removes some of my dead skin cells.
I use it when my skin is not in the condition for a more harsh facial scrub.
On the other side I'm happy that I almost finished this product coz I really don't like its scent.

How to use: After washing the face, apply suitable amount onto dry face except for eyes and lips. Gently massage the face for exfoliating, then wash it off with warm water.

Price: around 10,- €/ US$13
Bought at: eBay (BELLOGIRL)

What I love:
The design and that the peeling is gentle enough for all skin types.

What I don’t like:
The scent!!

Will I buy this again? No, I won't!
