[ETUDE HOUSE] AC Clinic Intense Trial Kit

A lot of ppl surely know the trouble care line AC Clinic from [ETUDE HOUSE]. I also own the Acne Foam Cleanser, Gel Lotion, Pink Powder Spot, Red Spot Balm and AC Clinic White-Trouble 2 Step Toner
Around 2 weeks ago I saw that the older products got upgraded and are now sold under the names AC Clinic Daily (Acne Foam Cleanser, Toner, Gel Lotion) and AC Clinic Intense (Pink Powder Spot, Pink Powder Water). Even though I own the full sizes already I purchased the new AC Clinic Intense Trial Kit, mainly coz of the newly published Pink Powder Water.

Description: Formulated with Salicylic Acid, AC Clinic delivers trouble care at every stage.
The Trial Kit comes in a travel-friendly, clear plastic bag and contains the following five (5) products:
AC Clinic Daily Acne Foam Cleanser (30ml)
AC Clinic Daily Toner (25ml)
AC Clinic Daily Gel Lotion (25ml)
AC Clinic Intense Pink Powder Spot (5ml) + 10 Cotton Swabs
AC Clinic Intense Pink Powder Water (5ml)
All products got this strong scent you may know already from the older versions. It's probably the scent of the hinoki cypress.
Acne Foam Cleanser: The daily cleanser comes in a small green tube with a twist-off lid. The consistency is thick and creamy like most foam cleansers are.
Toner: You apply the toner with a cotton pad after cleansing your face. This one is colorless!
Gel Lotion: Same as the Toner the Gel Lotion comes in a small translucent bottle with a twist-off lid on top. You need to 'shake' the bottle to get the white, gel-like lotion out. Just massage it with your hands over your face after using the toner.
Pink Powder Spot: This product consists of a liquidity and a powdery part. The liquid has a strong scent as if there is a lot of alcohol inside. The powder has a pink color! To use the powder do not shake the bottle before usage!! Take a cotton swab and dip it in, then coat breakouts with the pink powder.
Pink Powder Water: Like the Pink Powder Spot it has powder inside which is here rather white. Shake the bottle well and apply the water with your fingers to breakouts. You can use it after make-up as well.
I would say that the Pink Powder Spot should be used overnight and the Pink Powder Water at daytime.
Till now I like the Trial Kit. It's nice for travelling or if you just wanna try out the products before buying a full size. This Special Trial Kit For Trouble Care shall last for 4 weeks!
Price: around 13,- €/ US$16
Bought at: eBay (

What I love:
The small travel-friendly size. Good for testing the products, too.

What I don’t like:
There is nothing I don't like yet!

Will I buy this again? If I see that it really works...yes! Got some products as full size already at home, though.

[ETUDE HOUSE] Yogurt Peel Cleansing Foam *Nuts Mix*

Yesterday I wrote about yogurt face masks and today I wanna review another 'yogurt' product I purchased a few month ago. The Yogurt Peel Cleansing Foam from [ETUDE HOUSE] was available in five (5) different types:
- Black Food Mix (Black Bean & Black Sesame Seed)
- Cereal Mix (Rice & Adlay)
- Fruit Mix (Apple & Lime)
- Nuts Mix (Walnut & Sunflower Seed)
- Super Berry Mix (Raspberry & Pomegranate)

I got my one from eBay where they sold just two types (Nuts Mix, Cereal Mix), so I decided to get the Nuts Mix. Now this product has already been discontinued and being replaced by the Peel so good foam cleansers.

Description: Yogurt Peel Cleansing Foam contains yogurt (Lactobacillus) and fine granules to gently exfoliate, nourish and radiate dull complexion. Nut Mix consists of Walnut & Sunflower Seed extracts.
The cleansing foam comes in a 150ml tube with a blue flip-top lid. The white tube is speckled with light brown 'dots'.
The Nuts Mix Cleansing Foam contains ingredients like Water, Glycerin, Silica, Yogurt Powder (30mg), Honey Extract, Walnut Shell Extract, Walnut Shell Powder, Sunflower Seed Oil, Polygonatum Officinale Rhizome/ Root Extract, Fragrance and more.
This cleanser is a 2in1 product: Cleansing Foam + Exfoliator
Although it's a kind of a 'facial scrub' it can be used daily coz it's gentle enough.
The consistency is thick and creamy, it has a brownish-white color and contains lots of brown granules from the walnuts. These granules peel your skin while washing your face!
The scent is very soft & milky - it reminds me of the Happy Teatime Cleansing Foam I used a while ago.
Currently I use this cleanser only in the morning and till now I'm quite satisfied with it. It peels my skin without being too harsh and it doesn't dry out my skin as well.
If I had the chance to get all sorts before I would choose the Black Food Mix, though. That one was rather for 'healing' the skin while Nuts Mix does nourish.
How to use: Wet face and dispense small amount onto hands. Lather and apply foam to face, gently massage entire area. Wash and rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Price: around 10,- €/ US$12
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:
The soft scent and the gentle peeling effect.

What I don’t like:
There is nothing I don't like yet!

Will I buy this again? I probably would try another type but it's discontinued already!

[SKINFOOD] Banana Yogurt Mask & Kiwi Yogurt Mask *Wash off*

While I was looking for new face masks containing yogurt I stumbled over [SKINFOOD]'s Banana Yogurt Mask Wash off and Kiwi Yogurt Mask Wash off. I got these two because banana is said to be good for sensitive skin and the kiwi one for oily skin. I would like to try out the Papaya Yogurt Mask as well, though.

I know that a lot of reviews exist already, especially of the Banana Yogurt Mask. Therefore, I will keep this review short!
Both face masks come in the same white, round container - it's the same design as of many other [SKINFOOD] products. There is no spoon/ spatula included, so you need to use your fingers or a pack brush to get the products out.
Each mask contains 100ml!

Banana Yogurt Mask Wash off:
Description: Yogurt mask with 'banana' extracts to prevent skin dehydration and softly soothe sensitive skin.

The main ingredients in this face mask are Banana Fruit Extract and Yogurt Powder. Some other ingredients are Water, Macadamia Seed Oil and Matricaria Flower Extract.
Underneath the twist-off lid is another white cover to protect the mask inside from spilling out.
The connsistency is creamy but also very runny. It's a bit difficult to apply the mask to my face coz of its watery/ runny texture. It has a yellowish color with yellow beads inside. These beads start to melt when I massage the Yogurt Mask over my face.
It smells like sweet bananas!
I like this mask coz it refreshes, soothes and moisturizes my dry/ sensitive skin well.
I apply the mask to my face with a pack brush and massage it over my skin until the beads are melted, then I wait for some minutes and wash it off.
How to use: After cleansing, gently massage over dry face. Leave on your face for 10~15minutes. Rinse off

Kiwi Yogurt Mask Wash off:
Description: Yogurt mask with extracts of 'kiwi', tropical fruit rich in vitamin and juice.

The two (2) main ingredients are Kiwi Fruit Extract and Yogurt Powder. It also contains Water, Macadamia Seed Oil, Amorphophallus Konjac Root Extract and Zinc Sulfate.
The Kiwi Yogurt Mask shall control sebum and tightens pores!
Like the Banana Yogurt Mask this one has a runny texture. The greenish-white mask has green beads inside and a tropical/ citrus-like scent.
While massaging the product on my skin the beads start to melt again. I like this mask, too, even though I didn't notice a pore tightening effect yet.
How to use: After cleansing, gently massage over dry face. Leave on your face for 10~15minutes. Rinse off

Price (each): around 8~9,- €/ US$9~10
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:
Both masks are refreshing and moisturizing.

What I don’t like:
The texture is a bit too runny.

Will I buy this again? Yes, I would. Might consider to get the Papaya Yogurt Mask first, tough.

Aloe vera is a succulent-like plant with gel-filled leaves. The gel inside is associated with many healing benefits, and can be used both internally and externally. Externally it is most used for the relief of many skin complaints, including sunburns, acne, dry skin, insect bites, stretch marks, cuts/ wounds, aging skin and more.
Since I suffer from oily skin, dry skin, sensitive skin and breakouts from time to time I thought that aloe vera gel might be worth a try. I decided to get the SOOTHING & MOISTURE ALOE VERA 92% SOOTHING GEL from korean brand [NATURE REPUBLIC]. This gel contains 92% pure aloe vera gel and can be used by any skin type, also sensitive skin. I was reading that it was sold more than 1.5 million times in Korea already!
You can also get a Cleansing Foam with 80% aloe vera.

The skin care products of [NATURE REPUBLIC] are endorsed by different KPop celebrities like JYJ, Rain, Goo Hara (KARA), Jang Geun Suk and some more.

Description: Abundant 92% aloe vera! Mild formula free from paraben, mineral oil and artificial colors. This soothing gel with 92% organic aloe vera certified by California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) can be used to mildly moisturize various parts of the body such as the face, arms, legs, and hair.
[NATURE REPUBLIC]'s aloe vera gel comes in a quite big, green plastic container and contains 300ml what should last for a long time if you don't use it everyday on your whole body. The container is also a bit translucent and has a second clear cover underneath the lid to protect the gel from spilling out.
The main ingredient is Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract (92%). Some other ingredients are Alcohol, Butylene Glycol, Betaine, Carendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Spearmint Extract, Melissa Officinalis Extract, Water, Perfume and others.
It is free of Paraben, Mineral Oil and Artificial Colors.
The gel is colorless and nice scented. It doesn't feel sticky and becomes a bit more watery when I massage it over my skin. It gets absorbed by my skin very fast and does refresh well. Afterwards my skin feels smooth and stays oil-free for longer than with a normal face cream.
Btw, you can keep the gel in your fridge for a more cooling and refreshing feeling!
I use the aloe vera gel mostly on my face only - sometimes alone and sometimes under another face cream. I really like it till now and hope it will help my skin complaints! I'm also curious about how it works under my make-up. I know that you can mix the gel with your make-up base or foundation - I will do that next time.
How to use: Apply an appropriate amount to dry, sensitive parts of the face and body often for the best results. For external use only!

Price: around 10,- €/ US$12
Bought at: eBay (rubyruby76)

What I love:
Everything till now!

What I don’t like:
Nothing yet! Except from the fact that you need to dip your fingers in the gel again.

Will I buy this again? Yes, I would if it helps long-term! Maybe will try out another aloe vera gel the next time like the one from [Holika Holika].
