[THE FACE SHOP] Oil-Free Control Cream

A face cream I use before appling make-up is [THE FACE SHOP] Oil-Free Control Cream from their 'CLEAN FACE' line. I reviewed already the Oil-Free BB Cream which I like a lot.

Description: The Face Shop's Clean Face Oil-Free Control Cream is a superb moisturizer and a pore treatment all in one convenient package. Natural ingredients like liquorice, green tea, lemon make it gentle on your face without the greasy and pore clogging feeling of your standard creams. As with all items in the Clean Face Oil-Free Control Line, the cream helps you get a better handle on sebum secretion. Great for those with combination or oily skin.
The cream comes in a heavy matte (glass) jar which is beige-coloured. It has a brown/ bronze lid and contains 50ml.
Underneath the lid is another white cover to protect the cream from spill out.
The cream is white and has a creamy consistency which is a bit gel-like as well. It doesn't feel oily on my skin and absorbs quite fast. The scent is rather strong but I don't really mind.
I have some problems to get the cream out off the jar coz it has a square shape. A round container would be better!
After applying the Oil-Free Control Cream my face feels smoother and looks a bit matte, too. The effect doesn't last for a long time, though.

Price: around 15,- €/ US$19
Bought at: eBay (hsckoreanimports)

What I love:
It doesn't feel oily and my skin looks more matte.

What I don’t like:
The square shape makes it hard to get the product out.

Will I buy this again? I'm not sure about that yet!

  1. I don't like this! It's a definite no-no for humid weather even though it's oil-free. :)
